Darke and Roan are not stupid, they are playing to the crowd - directed to do so by their editors - they post things that will garner the most clicks - the more clicks a post or article gets, the more money for the journalist... As such, anything that appeals to the afore mentioned plastic rags will get far more traffic than a positive article about us. Conversely, a negative article about us will also peak the interest of the same plastics as well as angering us and triggering our response... it's what they actually want.

The strategy isn't working though because most media organisations are struggling financially and are losing audience share. There are lots of reasons for this but one key one is that they have lost touch with their customers.

Ive no problem with Bingham having a go at us as she is no longer or likely to ever get another job in the media.

when the pubs open she should really look for bar work.

He got a decent level of piss taking as he made his way back. I played golf with him many years ago and he was actually decent company. No, losing their audience is nothing to do with losing touch with their customers – it's due entirely to the fact the internet and the ease of access to it, through our phones etc. means that people no longer have to rely on traditional sources of news – zero to do with 'losing touch', everything to do with much more competition.
That is why they are now posting for clicks – they're not offering a unique product, so they have to try and compete in other ways.

I do think if Peps English was better he’d school him, I see no reason why he couldn’t have a PR person help him on stage. It’s not a football question so why do you need the best football mind in the world to answer.

I think they are right. There have been matches where United didn't get a pen completely contrary to the arrangement.
The arrangement worked as planned tonight .

Don’t see why we can’t tell the Mirror to send someone else from now on. Not banning the publication (in the first instance), just request/insist it isn’t him.

I dont suppose it stops him saying City fans all live in Stockport. The Crown in HM has fond memories as it was the last pub l ever had a pint with a sulking rag who had gone missing from our usual Sunday night pint. After three or four weeks following the 5-1 at Maine Road l just went into pisstake overload.
 
Its gone relatively quiet on here about City and Covid although l dont have a clue what social media is up to.
City acted properly and professionally over the Everton match and despite City fans calling for Walker to be sacked the story over THE party did not have any credence.
So, who and how will both stories be used in a derogatory way against City this weekend? I will be surprised if is not used in a sly or more open way before or during the commentary of the Chelsea match. We seem to have become easy legitimate targets

Agree but I would be very surprised if the match commentary were to mention these rumours. Surely that would lead them open for City to sue. Than again looking how the league are helping utd to cheat and dive there way to the top who knows.

The fact is we are a small minority of their target audience. Sucking up to their real target audience by targeting us is exact what the cunts want, it helps rather than hinders their business model
