If anyone has the Sunday Times you should check out David Walsh’s column on the back page of the sport supplement. His comments about City might suggest we are down near the bottom rather than moving into position to fight for the title. Oh and Stones’s improvement is to do with playing in an empty stadium. I’d have thought it was more to do with playing next to the best defender in the league?

Maybe David Walsh hasn’t spotted Dias yet.
Stones played every other game at an empty Emptyhad anyway, so Mr Walsh is definitely chatting shite

As i've said previously - the press will talk-up anything and everything that relates to the Rags and Liverpool – accentuate the positives and sweep any bad news under the carpet.
When it comes to us, they will put a negative spin on it if they can, or any positive stories, they will just sweep under the carpet.

On BBC Breakfast all members of the weakened weekend presenters enthusiastically gushing about the rags 'n' dippers match following a strange selective review of some of the goal celebrations yesterday. The stand in female presenter from Sale stated that the match is a great game which everyone will be watching. No wonder the BBC is in decline encouraging people to watch another station.
All bollocks - now for MOTD to see which celebrations they watched with their blind eye.
I heard on the BBC yesterday "the whole world stops when Livapool & Utd clash".

It doesn't seem to have done so in recent years. Slipped under the radar l think. Stone must have been a giddy little goat in the last few days, looking up to Roan for approval and a pat on the head.

Just posted this in the premier league matches thread but I guess this is a better place for it.

Slightly of topic but is rugby union still being played ? If so have they scrap the scum ? After all that's no different to a celebration hug but with gorging and biting of ears
That's known as foreplay in rugby circles.

Radio 5 live...
City have spent over £400 million on defence, more than some countries spend on defence.

Fcukin hilarious aren’t they.

Old gag. I’m wondering was the programme the one with the group of boys calling each other bruv?

If so, it last about 5 seconds on my radio.

I should really know better and stay well away from the mail but just came across this vomit inducing pile of shite...

Not sure what's meant by "perhaps he knows such infantile behaviour is for the birds" but we're shown hugging in celebration whilst that cock is sucking his thumb!
How the fuck did he get potm after Kev pissed all over him the other week?

Great point. The only reason this got so big in the media is they saw City doing it so it gave the usual suspect hacks a chance to draw their followers hatred towards us and plant another seed in the general public that we are bad guys. The picture of us celebrating became a feature on back pages click baits and even national news programmes, so job done.
Very much brought up when we beat United in the cup. All came about them crying as we mullered them, pointing at the TV screaming ‘Look what they’re doing, they’re not allowed to do that’, sob, sob.

Pathetic. Nobody really gave a toss before that game.

On Football Focus yesterday they must have shown Rooney's overhead freak goal against us at least six times. Would have liked some context saying at the next Old Toilet Derby he played like a lemon while we stuck six past them. On final score they stated West Ham's win meant they were just three points behind Manchester City. So ?The bloody BBC are obsessed with being negative about us the sooner the licence fee is scrapped the better.

Scrapping the licence fee won't make them report fairly on us.

Though we wouldn't have to pay for the national broadcaster to be a Utd and Liverpool fanzine.
