Thanks for posting.

A very concise and informative summary given by someone who was just stating the actual stats which backed up his conclusion City are the team to beat in the league this year.

He gave reasons why the rotation in place from Pep is not only currently working but how it will help us as we move along a very hectic schedule, acknowledges the influence Gundogan and Dias have had on our season whilst we have had virtually no forwards available and unlike other journalists like Stone at the BBC states how controlled the game was against Sheffield Utd.

Also recognises the month ahead is going to be a very hard one and correctly states nothing is decided as yet for the title, but we are obviously very much the team to beat.

Also as already posted, correctly states that even though Pep has been given lots of money through his managerial career, that the money does not guarantee success and uses Allardyce as an example of if given such money would not be in the position Pep is, 500 wins in 673 games at all his clubs.

Amazing stats currently for City, but even more amazing how much we are ignored and even sneered at and treated with such contempt and disdain by the so called ‘press’ of this country.

If we continue on our current path, and I acknowledge that at the moment it is in no shape or form guaranteed with the scheduling of this season, surely we must not only win the title and have an outstanding chance in other comps, but our manager and team must receive the plaudits and awards they both not only would deserve but will have earned through hard work and a team spirit that currently seems to be soaring.

The reality is that our press/media will continue to sneer and deride at every opportunity, ignore the actual form and stats that are in front of them, rejoice in any defeats we have, put our opponents on a pedestal no matter if deserved or not, and continue with their collective heads in the sand whilst recycling at every opportunity the same agenda/bias they have held against our owners and team since day one of the takeover.
as my nan used to say "jealousy is such an ugly trait"

This has been mentioned before. Because The Sheikh has never disclosed his wealth (and doesn't have to) the UK press have absolutely no idea how much he's worth so he's never entered on these lists. I think it's safe to say he would be top though

I seem to recall historical figures of £20bn. Remember, this is the guy that bailed Barclays out so they didn't have to go cap in hand to HMG, then subsequently sold his shares for a cool £1.5bn profit.

Stone was encouraging Blades players to dive in the BBC live text.
Must be overdue for another of his regular appearances on the dwarf boxing promoter Howson’s laughable YouTube grift channel
Perhaps he can use an appearance on there to promote Tag Heuer watches, just like he did when he was sent on tour to cover the Rags at the licence payers expense.

What's the Sheikh got to do with it?
Everybody knows we're state owned!

;))

Sly bigging up Bodgers for PL manager of the month during the Leicester Leeds game earlier stating Leicester unbeaten in January (No mention of the one team who WON all their games). How's that going you biased bastards!

Let's put this myth to bed
Liverpool didn't win the league due to it being interrupted by Covid
They were out of sight before the season came to a halt and they've been pretty hit and miss since project restart

The break last season favoured the rags, as Leicester fell off and the rags, with some VAR help, improved

That really wasn’t the point I was making mate, so there’s no myth to put to bed!

I said it’s painted as an amazing season because Liverpool won it, whereas our treble the season before got barely half the coverage.

Liverpool won it fair and square - they were the best team last year. Fuck all to do with Covid.

My point was it was a mess of a season due to Covid - not the ‘absolute classic’ the Liverpool-fawning media would have us believe.

Silly Sally already recording a St Marcus sympathy piece.

For the record I abhor racism and racial behaviour. Yet these fuckers make me think they are using it as deflection from being shit.

I feel sick thinking that way. They have have a history of exploiting moral issues.
Has anyone actually seen any of these alleged tweets?

St Marcus receiving racist abuse made the national headlines. GMP involved so I wonder how rigorous the investigation will be.

If he has been racially abused the culprits need to be dealt with. However it stinks of convenience that this and the similar stories last week were raised as nited were struggling. Classic news management that has the stench of Ashton all over it.

I regretfully turned mute off for the West Ham vs Liverpool game. For about thirty seconds I listened to Martin Tyler and then I muted the game again. It got me thinking what annoys me so much about him and then the word "bloviate" came to my mind. I looked it up to see what it means and I found this

Bloviation is a style of empty, pompous, political speech which originated in Ohio and was used by US President Warren G. Harding, who described it as "the art of speaking for as long as the occasion warrants, and saying nothing".

Add that to a kind of sycophancy - obsequious behaviour towards someone important e.g. Liverpool - and I have some answers in respect to my annoyance. I thought I'd share with that you on the media thread seeing as he works for Sly Sports.

The St Marcus tag is crass, and immature.
And if you really believe your second paragraph. Well it's pretty poor on your count. You are really linking the racist tweets being highlighted to united struggling?

I don't know what is more nauseating with Tyler commentating - his love-in of all things Henderson or his man crush on Fernandes. Surely it's about time that new blood was brought through by Sky. I would promote Don Goodman to cover PL games and get rid of Tyler.
