Think it's possible United will have to forfeit the match. The result is unlikely to affect United, they are not going to win the league anyway and will qualify to the CL regardless, where as two points would give Liverpool a huge leg up for CL qualification. As the powers that be always do the best for these clubs they may well make Utd forfeit the game.
 
I know one of the security team and last week he was talking about the 7000 expected, and he was in the team that would be deployed after the police became overrun.

Souness has always been very impressive with a real moral compass in these situations.
I remember he was a pundit at Heysel and was speaking about what a tragedy it was when others were playing down the deaths and wanting to talk about the football.
He was still a player in those days having gone to Italy.
 
How can anyone say they can understand this protest, That Shower of shit started all this because of there own greed many years ago, they were the club who pushed that home gate receipts went to the home club, they were the club who started monetarism in football, they brought all this corporate investment into football, when they were in front of every other club, because they were at the forefront everything was ok, the Super League was a product of what they started many years ago. Now its all gone tits up, and suddenly other clubs, Mainly City are way out in front they cannot live with it, That shower of shit are not representing football they are thinking about themselves, they don't give a fuck about any one but themselves, and Rat Boy talking on TV as though this is some fight for all fans is absolute shite, and Sky and the press are behind them, or we will wait to see what happens, but they dont give a fuck about anyone else but themselves, lets get things right fuck the bastards.

Gutless Sky allowed Neville and Carragher to dignify the whole thing as though these were apartheid or Hong Kong principled protestors - truth is, all we saw was a bunch of scrotes. MU have spent a billion on players in recent years and are light years behind us - it's eating them up. If they had those same owners and were the dominant club, they wouldn't be doing this.

Agree, Souness will lay into our team when the performance deserves it and give praise where it's due. Unlike his colleagues, he doesn't do cheap shots. As you say, a real moral compass underpinning his comments.
 
Just wish Souness would've gone further and said it was a disgrace and that consequences should follow. Theres no doubt Rat would've said something like that if it were any other club. As for Richards he's just a div and a puppet thats trying to keep mates with Keane and co. You can't really expect much from him.

He should have been told to shut up and wind his neck in immediately. The scenes inside and outside the ground were a disgrace. Totally unacceptable.

Neville doesnt speak for anyone other than rags and Sky are not the guardians of football.

Sky were to be the biggest losers if the ESL got off the ground, their flagship product PL would have been dead in the water.

Do not be surprised by the reporting and free reign to Neville to say whatever he wants.

They all hate the idea of money running the game, unless its them making the money
