Lots of PR in the media saying how Liverpool have the best player recruitment - with no mention of hacking into Ciy's system and database nor of the ex-City guys they hired. They were found guilty and the cost of this instant fix was a paltry £1m fine with no sanctions.

Correct there recruitment before the hack was dreadful!

That Hack got them on track saw how our set was and set it up in there systems poached couple of our staff and all that for a measly 1m we could took them to the cleaners but I bet the premier had a lot to do with that settlement! Stinks to high heaven!

So all there success is down to Man City.

I have no memory of Joe Cole at Liverpool... the fuck did i miss that.. lol

BBC breakfast hoping for a dipper v Madrid final , they just about managed to say our name .
Yesterdays media narrative, the genius that is Klopp , todays narrative, the genius that is Ancelotti. Sickening when you think about it and I’m sure should we get to Paris it would be 1,0000000% worse

35 million on Andy Carthorse and they have the brass neck to call us out for spending money

Is there a reason you chose 2010? Is that when those staff members moved to Liverpool?

City made the complaint in July 2013 and they apparently accessed the scouting network 100s of times.

Jan 2013 is where they bought Coutinho, which is a very significant signing but Suarez in 2010 would have been too. If it's possible that both of those signings came off the back of the hacking then that really would be significant. They sold both of those players on for massively inflated fees "which gave them a blank cheque for years to come la" as they would phrase it in Liverpool, if the shoe was on the other foot.

I was thinking academy level might be a good place to look also because it goes under the radar more. Raheem Sterling was signed in Feb 2010, that would be a significant one. Not sure how well known he was back then tbh.

It’s never mentioned how VVD forced a sale from Southampton by going on strike, telling the club he is not available for pre season games and refused to go on tour to France with them.
It would be in every report he was mentioned in if we bought him.

Similar to last season when him, Alison and more all signed new contracts. Not a single £ mentioned in any media reports about their new contract wages.

Every single media outlet is scared stiff of them for some reason
Didn’t Mahrez do similar?

Theyre always going on about having to sell to spend, but have they actually sold who they'd have wanted to keep? I think only Coutinho and Sterling (but they had Ibe, so that was okay).

And as for Coutinho, to use one of their quotes, "what was the next highest bid?". He was massively overpriced. And why?

Well, everyone knew Barca were loaded after selling Neymar to PSG for £200m of 'oil money'. Barca used that 'oil money' to buy Coutinho and Liverpool used it to buy Allison and Van Dijk.

A team built on oil money, who'd have thought it...

Though they'd say it doesn't count as oil money now. Well at what point does the money become 'clean'? It almost sounds like money laundering in some ways, which they should be familiar with due to having Standard Chartered and Western Union a sponsors.

And Coutinho was bought on the drip.

Makes the £28 million(over-reported in the press because Atletico did bad business on the release clause) for Aguero look like a steal.

They also paid £32.5m(transfermrkt says £42m oddly, possibly means with bonuses?) for Benteke in 2015, which was worse than City's Bony signing for £25m(£28m with bonuses) especially considering the latter was a January signing. How Liverpool managed to recoup so much of what they paid in comparison(£28m vs £12m), considering he was worse, remains suspect to me.

The media spin doctors help them out with the figures I’m sure. With us they double it, treble it then add an extra million on for good luck

Another greatest title?

Neutral football fans aren't calling him great in the comments section.

The continual fawning of Klopp from the English Football Mafia(Media) is f*cking sickening!

Not only scared stiff of the football team they don’t have any balls to report anything untoward about the City, how much have you heard about Anderson and his cronies fiddling millions from the public purse? One weird City and the fact they have so many weird people from outside of Murkeyside supporting the Red Dippers is, well, just weird.

Talkshite, next we’ll be discussing City’s CL game tonight.
Simple Simon: who are they playing?

Utter fcukin nob head.
That sycophantic wanker White said yesterday “a text from a Dipper says stop going on about the Quad”. White says “we can only but dream and so should you”.

What a complete disrespect to English fans of City and Chelsea, the lack of objectivity is not even hidden now, it’s full on subjectivity.

Btw, White is a ****

Rodney Marsh flying the flag on talkshite

Heard that. He was brilliant. Obviously they were trying to steer him to talk about Fulham and QPR, but out he comes with ‘City are the greatest team in the world right now’ and ‘City will be massive favourites in the Champions League final’. Which he knew would be a fact as bookies aren’t daft; you could almost hear the interviewers draws drop as they struggled to get back to the usual script of blowing smoke between the red cheeks.
Rodney will be put on the same list as Buzzer - never to return.
