ITV News reported Mendy had been given bail t fourth time of asking. News presenter said he had cost City a fee in excess of 50m and a reporter said that he had signed for 52m s record for a defender at the time.
So l know he has cost a lot of money but don't know why he was successful this time round or if his co defendant was also released.
The tone of both guesses at his transfer fee seemed to be put in as critical of City spending the money. Fee not mentioned at all on local news.

Top of the Premier league they started with.
In the end after the finances and the game was in the bag they quoted " these are some of the best players in the world".

They said it before kick off. The Swindon fans were singing ‘who are ya’ and the commentator said ‘it’s only the best team in the world.’
