I don't really give a shit about this but I did complain to them about the scores that Raheem Sterling got in a particular match (the ratings from readers returned 4.75, the second worst of either team and where Bernardo scored 8.8 and Raz was nominated MOTM by Sky) because I pointed out to the BBC that it was not made clear that the scores were being manipulated and that their data collection wasn't picking it up. This was the pointless response ...I’ll just leave this one here without comment …
Premier League 2021-22: Mohamed Salah, Aaron Ramsdale & Declan Rice among your best players so far
No Ederson, no Cristiano Ronaldo, no Romelu Lukaku - but which players are in your Premier League team of the season so far?www.bbc.co.uk
"We appreciate your feedback about the page on the Watford v
Manchester City match of 04 December.
Your concerns were noted.
This is where feedback such as yours is very much valued by the BBC as it tells us what users think we're getting right, and of course what they think we're getting wrong.
Please be assured that your concerns were sent to senior staff at BBC Sport via our daily report at the time."
I'm surprised the players and club aren't addressing this sort of negativity but they've probably come to the same conclusion that most City fans have - the BBC are irrelevant. This poll proves they are not interested in addressing online hate towards players (for whatever reason) or reporting standards nor want to listen to criticism of it.
