Yep. All they have to do is add a clear disclaimer to the results pages saying the scores are not the opinion of the BBC. The problem from my perspective is that they validate them by using the highest score to award a MOTM and then go on to do this "team of the year so far" nonsense where one would expect there to be some representation from the team leading the table by a substantial margin.

What you say is correct but regrettably Dipperpool have a huge following worldwide & they provide the clicks the BBC want. Thus the BBC don’t care that the team of the year is a farce because it has no players from what ITV describe as the “best team in the world”

it’s an embarrassing article and reflects on the bbc accordingly. They become less authentic every day.

Lol if anyone thinks it expects city are loved by the general fan is naive. When utd were top dog their players were generally hated. It comes with the territory.
You’d be surprised. A lot of other supporters are still in the ‘anyone but Utd or Liverpool camp’ and are more than happy with us winning swag.

Beyond parody.

The Guardian up to its usual tricks….this piece front and centre with the headline in blue to make it stand out, also coincidentally, the picture used shows Bennell wearing a sky blue sweatshirt, not unlike the colour of the City kit.

A random point from yesterdays draw for the 4th round of the fa cup. On the bbc, every single draw had more Thumbs Up than Thumbs Down... Except one game. Wanna guess which game it was? Remember though....No one cares about us!
