Nick Harris has an unhealthy obsession with City, and just looks increasingly bitter and resentful with every passing tweet. Made to look pretty foolish by @projectriver last night on Twitter.

What's fantastic is even when he's proven wrong, with evidence, he simply doubles down. It's quite fantastic how silly he makes himself look.

That just goes to show how sports writers (I am not using the word journalist here) have no idea what they are talking about. Most don't like City so they don't watch the team with any level of interest and when that is combined with a need to produce anything to fill space nonsense is produced.

It really is amazing how the narrative changes about City from rival fans and the media when they're going well and look like they're going to win a trophy to when they fail and get knocked out of something, or when Liverpool appear close to winning the league instead.

I've been hearing all season how Liverpool have anything up to 7 best players in the world in their positions, including the "best player in world football at the minute" and the "best centre half of all time"
Couple all that with the fact that Klopp is apparently the best coach in the world in their eyes, then its really amazing that City are on the brink of 4 titles in 5 years

The fact that the Egyptian Tom Daley is Sportswriters player of the year tells you all you need to know about our media.

I bet you could find a lot worse on here at the time about De Bruyne. The article was about his poor form, and wondering if players get pushed too hard, which is fair. It's sympathetic to De Bruyne, and is asking if one of the best players in the world has been permanently damaged by being rushed back after the CL final and then playing with two pain killing injections in just one game at the Euros.

He didn't have a great start to the season - it was common knowledge that he was playing while not fully recovered. His first Premier League assists didn't arrive till the 29th December.

Stats don't tell the whole story, but have a look at his ratings on whoscored. Prior to the mid-December game at Leeds he was averaging a score of 6.79 - which wouldn't even make him one of the top 100 players in the Premier League.

Since then his ratings have jumped to 8.14, which would rank him as the best player in Europe.

We should be celebrating that he's come back so strongly, but when the season ends, put him in cotton wall and give him a rest.

I'm blocked but just saw this.

Gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling
Deary, deary, deary me..

You telling me, fellow Blue, that a grown man actually sat down and wrote that? A fully grown up man? That he makes his living writing stuff like that? A grown man? What a world we live in.. a grown f**king man?!

Miserable, irascible old tw*nt I may be but, Blimey Charlie, I'm with Marvin Gaye on matters such as these.. 'Makes me wanna holler, throw up both my hands..'

Come on, City, two more wins and stuff it down these f**kers throats. And then you can have a nice, long rest over the Summer before starting all over again to do it to them once more next season..

I am sure you could find a lot worse on here but we aren't getting paid to write anything and we certainly aren't producing anything for a national audience. You are absolutely correct with your last sentence though. I, criminally I suppose, posted without having read the article as most in 'the guardian' take a similar view to City that tend to be less than complimentary. Fair enough if it raised concerns about KDB's treatment. Pep himself has raised concerns about the amount of football players are expected to play.

Really sorry if this has been shared and I’ve missed it but does anyone know where I can locate this clip of Mike Wedderburn, Paul Dickov and Kaveh?

It used to annoy me, now he makes me smile, these cunts are just showing themselves up now. Ranting like Hitler in his bunker.

Is that the £80M player for £40M clip?

I tried searching for that yesterday but it looks like it's been scrubbed from the internet.
I haven’t seen it but I believe Dickov and Wedderburn tear apart Kaveh asking why he reported the overall fee and not just the transfer fee. Just wanna see that know nowt squirm!!

Recorded MOTD last night, just put it on and the blurb says featuring Leeds v Chelsea and Watford v Everton. No mention of the champions or the team at the top of the league. Cunts
