Good decision.

"City’s financial dominance, buttressed not by an absent billionaire but by an entire state, "

"City know that they’ll never be as big as United or as loved as Liverpool or as cool as Paris Saint-Germain."

"at some point the City era will come to an end. And yet the forces that helped them to flourish in the first place – weak regulation, a lack of oversight, the moral desertion that allows repressive states to own cherished community assets – will not."

Edit: Written by Jonathan Liew, the Spurs fan BTW.
The weak regulation didn’t apply to the Dippers when they were funded by the Moores and Granada TV, that led to generations of glory hunters, but fuck the facts, lets make something up, wanker.

people
I can remember Baddiel and Skinner getting Big Joe on for their ‘Phoenix from the Flames’ segment on Fantasy Football League, where they recreated weird/iconic moments from football history.
Cue a clearly embarrassed Joe reluctantly pacing out the penalty spot with B&S in Nutty Boy single file style to the sound of One Step Beyond by Madness.
Amazingly it doesn’t appear to exist anywhere on the internet
Joe's a bit dour at the best of times. It's strange how people can be so easily led into doing things they are unhappy about doing.

The forces that helped us flourish were what the cartel put in place in order to try and guarantee themselves perpetual success. This always gets overlooked when these nonces bemoan our present standing in the game - and try and evaluate how it came to pass.

The weak regulation, the lack of oversight and the moral desertion all flowed from the establishment clubs creating that landscape for their own ends. Anyone who doesn’t appreciate this is too ignorant and/or too thick to be taken seriously. Or maybe he does, but elects to ignore it, which makes him dishonest.

Either way he’s an embarrassing ****.

As to this:

1. As big as united - don’t give a flying fuck
2. As loved as Liverpool - seriously?
3 As cool as PSG - not sure what metric he’s applied here

Embarrassing ****.
Exactly. Only 12 yo schoolboys argue about being bigger. And only Liverpool fans love Liverpool. What a weapon!

Who knew Rashford is so much more educated than his team mates?

Speaking to the JC Marcus Rashford said: "A picture has been brought to my attention which I understand now, given context, could easily be misconstrued. I would like to reinforce that I do not and will not condone discriminative language or behaviour of any kind aimed at the Jewish community or any other community.

"I truly believe that tackling antisemitism in and outside of the game requires a greater level of attention and should very much form part of the game’s anti-racism stance."

Slimey cunts

Just in case it has 't been posted?

It's the new line of attack and the pundits have been peddling it in unison all season.

We're boring, deeply unpopular, playing suffocating anti-football, we're bad for the game and we'll fold once Pep leaves.

I'd not seen this particular slant before this season, all the usual suspects are running with it.

I met him in the Legends Lounge last season, even then he was shy and reluctant.
Just his nature and natural humility, he genuinely can’t understand why he was a hero to thousands of working class blues
