I met him in the Legends Lounge last season, even then he was shy and reluctant.

He and his brothers were more outgoing with s few beers in them. An ex policeman l knew told of being called out to an after hours incident in Sale Moor. On arrival Joe and his bros were having a competition who could carry an oxygen acetylene canister the furthest under one arm and all doing rather well.
So well that our brave bobbies radio'd in that they couldn't find the incident and then went off in search of a less dangerous matter to deal with.
