It’s just another version of the recent “boring City” narrative, framed in the classic “Shit Sandwich”.
“City are a brilliant team. But”… blah blah blah
Weird how he delved back to stats from 2006 to support his argument, ignoring how much English football has evolved in general since then in terms of keeping possession, with even the likes of Swansea and more latterly Brighton playing a much more European style.
But then casually dismissed Grealish’s stats in order to support a ‘jumpers for goalposts’ rambling stream of nonsense about how City have ruined him.
Tl:Dr: more churlish, bitter bollocks
It’s another example of the undermining of our achievements that seem to be co-ordinated in the press, ‘m not one for believing in conspiracy bollocks but there’s definitely a narrative that runs through article after article for it not ti be an organised putting down and negativity reagarding our club but as i’ve posted before i thnnk it fuels us, the injustice of it drives the club on to keep
Improving and winning and sticking two fingers up to the fuckin cunts and think it will be a factor in why Pep extends his contract again

Oh do fuck off Robbie - had no qualms stealing a living off us for 3 years

"It’s an inconvenient truth, and the club’s supporters have long known it, but it has suited them to ignore it, just as Newcastle fans, Manchester City fans, Paris Saint-Germain fans, and fans the world over ignore the fact their clubs are owned by Oligarchs, states with human rights questions, or vulture capitalists."

Yes, vulture capitalists are exactly what FSG, and may other US owners of PL clubs are, but no mention of them by name. Twat
Can you imagine this lobotomised fuckwit actually thinking this, yet alone writing it. Maybe he should offer up his housing stock to refugees free of charge and shut the fuck up. Bloody puppet.

See the BBC have got their sports washing article up. Lots of Chelsea and Newcastle talk before it ultimately comes down to you know who.

Funnily enough it quotes Klopp but makes no reference to this

It seems to me that the faux outraged and misty eyed for yesteryear obsessed hacks/ex players in our media are determined to make sure we are not remembered as a great team, but more like the reason money and mercenaries within the game have diluted its appeal.

Absolute donkey shit!

Possession stats, points totals, unbeaten sequences, winning sequences, unprecedented trophy hauls in a season, increased interest and revenue for all teams during this period etc all point to a team that has proved itself a while ago to be possibly one of the greatest teams in the history of English football and most certainly one of the best in Premier league era.

Unfortunately for us, the charlatans that report the football or the ex players who work in the media in this country are quite clearly glory hunting types from the 70's to the noughties who w*nked themselves silly over the likes of the rags, dippers, tarquin’s and Putin's mate's team when they all had a clear financial advantage over the other teams during that period. Never a word was said about money spent or the domination of these teams and the monopoly on trophies won as accolades came raining down on them.

Football was so much better then and they could get all giddy working out when the old top 4 could have that Super Sunday wankfest every other month that was specifically designed for those four teams.

Not only are most of the media full of shit they are also job stealing hypocrites of the highest order.

Fuckoff.
As if that scouse cokehead would come out with a paragraph like that.

He's a bit thick is our Robbie, he still thinks Sheffield Wednesday is a Bank Holiday.

from Dan Moan …..

Chelsea & Roman Abramovich: Is this a moment of reckoning for English football ownership?

Dickhead Dan really on one. Actually imploring the simples to ask Pep about UAE human rights and the war in Yemen. Quoting tombstone gob like he has no ulterior motives on club ownership.

Hope somebody puts some class a in his baggage at the World Cup and he lives the rest of his life doing a bad midnight express impression, with his arsehole doubling for the channel tunnel. Utter ****.
