So, even in a skewed survey population, 89% of the few who could be arsed replying didn't think FFP was the major issue.

82% didn't think ownership was the major issue

82% didn't think independent monitoring of sponsorships was a major issue and;

Over 70% didn't think any of the above were the major issue.

In so far as this nonsense proves anything, it proves that this anti-City campaign is nothing more than the psychotic fixation of a small band of lunatic obssessives. But we didn't need a survey to tell us that.

German footbal, club and international level, has been in severe decline for many years and the quality now is the lowest in my lifetime. The 50 plus one model is shite in my view. The last people you want running football clubs are fans. They are too emotional and too close to the subject. Look at Swales and Kenwright at Everton.

I'm not sure how much the 50+1 model is to blame. Bayern hoover up all the best talent making the league uncompetitive. Presumably they have a superior income to most, sponsored by their three principal outside owners. What is the connection from this to the 'fan ownership' rule?
