I see the cnut on Sly's Premier league predictions for weekend games as us losing again, just like we'd slip up at Leeds last week he said.
Does Pep even need to do team talks when there's so much motivation in the press for our players

A DT hack this morning, sitting at his screen yesterday in full kit wanker Dipper gear has forecast the four remaining games for us and the Redshite and, no surprises - Dippers win all four and we stumble at Molineux! I wonder if he writes kiddies' fairy tales as a sideline. Every fucker knows Slippy Steve is gonna do us in added time on the last day!

Chris Latchem the sports reporter on BBC 5 live commented on this this morning. He said to Rick Edwards that they have predicted Liverpool to win the league by a point, and he said “wouldn’t that be good”. I thought they were supposed to be unbiased on the BBC.

It's just racism I am afraid. The UK media is covertly racist (it used to be overt). But it's all behind closed doors. The hatred of City started as soon as we were taken over by Sheikh Mansour. There is no such hosility to other club owners, including those from the US. People who doubt this is happening are in denial.
My career has led me to spend some time in football boardrooms and I have been shocked by the level of racism I have privately witnessed from Club Directors (at some well known clubs), often on occasions when my hosts did not know my football allegiances. What some (not all) of these so-called football people say privately bears no relation to their public persona. There's plenty of anti-semitism as well. Football is a very dirty business behind the scenes.
I don't really disagree but how do you swing the covert racism angle to the same press that lord the Arab money in British horse racing, a sport that would be on its arse if not for all the 'Oil money' and 'Sportswashing' sorry that is a lime never used ever in the history of horse racing.

Football reporters are just sick their teams have been usurped and are not top of the table atm

Someone tell me why it's morally wrong to be Russian, rich and move you and your money out of Putins murderous cesspit to Dubai where your lifestyle won't be hamstrung or your wealth dramatically reduced because of western sanctions on the country when you haven't stolen the money from anyone or been put on the sanctions list for reasons of kleptocracy or nepotism.
Nothing wrong with it at all, except those filthy Arabs can’t be trusted what with their brown skin, towels on their heads and their weird writing.

90% are Liverpool, United and Arsenal fans, the ones who got their noses put out of joint the worst with our success, until Liverpool's resent resurgence. The hypocrisy is galling considering they bought all the best players and divvied up the prizes between themselves prior to that. The rest are brain dead trolls whipped up to hysteria by the media. They trot out all the untrue clichés, oil money, cheated the rules and we can spend what we like, all bollocks and has been since ffp was hastily implemented to stop us. Fuck them I wish we'd keep winning everything to sicken them even more.
Been saying that for many years to my United loving mates, Fergie was so successful because he bought everyone's best fucking players.
Rooney, Sherringham, Van Persie, Keane, Robson, Stam, Rio, Cole, the list goes on and on and on...

How low can the Telegraph stoop. To build a story essentially accusing Pep of being racist on the comments of a crooked agent (who was sacked by Ya Ya Toure after his previous comments) is disgusting. It is easy to fill newspapers with quotes from people who are crazy with no context or balance. This is not journalism. The Telegraph really is totally shite.

In the daily newspapers battle to race to the bottom with regards editorial standards and moral decency the Torygraph has reached terminal velocity and may just prevail.
That will be some achievement given the competition.
A proud paper with fantastic credentials has become another comic desperately seeking clicks and attention. Right wing dinosaur publication who proudly stated a year or so ago that their target reader is likely to have personal savings of over £100k.
To give my personal answer to your question, I predict that they will continue to stoop much lower.

The difference is that some of our commercial rivals have orchestrated a posionous campaign against our club and they are pushing against an open door because so many people in the media are so willing to believe bad things about our owner (because of his ethnic heritage).
There is a big market for people like Simon Jordan who has used phrases in public such as:"I don't like the way those people do business" or referred to "dirty oil money." People know what he is trying to say. I wonder what he says about City's owner in private.
It is easy to exploit racial hatred packaged as something else. I don't know much about the horseracing industry but perhaps no one in that industry wants to rock the boat and risk future investment.

Speaking as someone who doesn't live in the UK I'm genuinely shocked at the English hatred for my beloved club.
Media, Twitter. English football fans are delirious that we got knocked out.
In some ways I really miss the club I supported as a boy. A club that was respected with a wonderful team of Messrs Lee Bell Summerbee, Young etc.
It's jealousy. City had a long fight back from the doldrums before attracting far-sighted ownership. Deep down every fan, in today's game, would want a comeback story like ours, to play like we do, and Russian or Arab ownership for their club, for obvious reasons, and all kinds of specious arguments will be used to disguise that. There is an overwhelming amount of hypocrisy, propaganda, doublespeak and double standards when it comes to the conversation about human rights and foreign policy to pick through, so the key questions for me are has our ownership been good for our team's football, has it been good for Manchester, and has it been good for English football. Nothing is perfect, but in today's climate I'd say things are as good as it gets, and as far as my 9-year-old son is concerned, right now might as well be the Colin Bell era. Whether our players are from Sao Paulo or Stockport they do a cracking job of representing us, we have a great academy that is bringing through local talent, a brilliant stadium which we take for granted and a fanbase who are from Manchester or love Manchester. I am biased like you but I think City has the best story in football - but we won't get validation from elsewhere because we gatecrashed the PL party.
