And yet the media are portraying it as "Guardiola has refused to speak to his players since the Real game" when his direct quotes don't say that at all

A DT hack this morning, sitting at his screen yesterday in full kit wanker Dipper gear has forecast the four remaining games for us and the Redshite and, no surprises - Dippers win all four and we stumble at Molineux! I wonder if he writes kiddies' fairy tales as a sideline. Every fucker knows Slippy Steve is gonna do us in added time on the last day!
come on you spurs. Now that would boil some piss if Spurs could pull off somthing similar to what they did to us.

Whilst the press may be racist, and there are journalists with allegiances to teams in red, the modern reporting is solely down to clicks and engagement.

Positive City stories get no traction. Negatives ones do. That is never gonna change so we have to get our heads around it.

It was leaked recently that Reach journos will be solely assessed on clicks an interactions with targets based on this.

Its a changing landscape where you get a halfwit like Samuel Luckhurst having 350,000 followers on Twitter whilst working for a regional paper that has a circulation of 20k.

People saying it will change in time are deluded. It’ll get worse with virtually no balance for any lesser teams. Journalism is easier to assess by their beancounters than ever before - and they can now see in minutes the success of pro red article or snide City piece.
TBF the MEN's City coverage is good imo, I like Brennan, Brotherton, Bajkowski's work and there's a reason why ex-City writers now work for the club - David Clayton, Chris Bailey being two - they are all proper Blues. But having mates who work in the business what you say about the digital model is true. A title like MEN will reach 20k in print and about three million people a day online. All digital titles live and die on the same analytics/social media model. Print doesn't generate the same ad revenues as digital so sites are always firefighting. The machine demands clicks and if a story about Man U's decline or Klopp's 'class' generates clicks then people working under target will throw out a lot of them.

Fucking hell they are getting worse the nearer their beloved Liverpool get to this quadruple. Lets hope they end up with the League Cup.
