Have to agree. Now was not the time for Pep to state the obvious about the media. The media pack of wolves are already tearing Pep apart about his comments. Pep should have saved his comments until the end of the season after City have won the title.

Don't think it's the case with everyone. Neutral football fans want City to win the title, not Liverpool. Pep has got that wrong.

Think the result and post match emotions got to Pep.
I have no idea about neutral fans and what their allegiance, if any, is in this title race (some i know think this Liverpool team is amazing to watch, some hate Liverpool because..its liverpool) however its very obvious that the media reporting of this attempt at a quadruple is significantly different to our previous attempts.

Whilst some may have had a veneer of positivity they were by and large framed from an anti competitive, sportswashing, money buys trophies but not history, don't win it all and its a failure of pep standpoint which is beyond ludicrous.

This Liverpool quad attempt is universally about klopps management, recruitment (never a mention of 500 million pound spent), its truly unique fanbase and this enormous run of success which compares with the other truly great eras of the past (despite winning 3 fucking trophies in 6 years).

No football analysis just a sort of childish fan banter. The programe aftermath was just totally moronic. Carragher whinging that he would rather win the CL than the PL. Just mindless comments from him and Redknapp. The channel has really hit the gutter.
I know sky have never been high brow, but it was gutter level moronic, as you say!!

“Wrongly”.

As Man City near fourth Premier League title in five years, they're more than just Liverpool spoilers

MANCHESTER, England -- "Maybe this season will always be remembered for Liverpool's bid to win everything, but Manchester City deserve better than to be cast as quadruple party-poopers."

The only reason for journalists to write stories like this is because they've pushed the liverpool narrative.

Does it really matter? Pep can say what he wants when he wants too. The media knives are constantly sharpened in his/our direction. Let them jump on it, wouldn’t expect anything else. Bunch of cunts.

To be fair, I presume he doesn’t write the headlines or the social media stuff, and don’t think the article actually says that explicitly. He does frequently sneer at City fans who think the media coverage isn’t always fair though, which grates a bit.
Sorry Ric, you can’t defend him, he’s a total prick

Oh dear me, Ian Wright and Alan Shearer, on MOTD2, the disappointment in their voices that we have bounced back!! They sound so down, what a shame, never mind!

YOU STUPID EX-PLAYERS YOU ARE COMMENTING ON THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND IN ALL THE WORLD! Of course we are going to bounce back in the best style ever. :-)

Sorry to shout but it’s been a brilliant day celebrating my daughters birthday but I couldn’t talk football and I missed it, the build up, the match and the wind down! :-) :-)

I hope you’ll indulge me just this once. *pleading, whimsical tone* ;-)

Shearer saying he has no sympathy for us having 3 defenders out for the rest of the season because we have '£40M Ake on the bench' .

Thick twat has clearly forgotten he won his PL medal playing for Jack Walker's Blackburn who literally bought the league.
