What did he say ?
After one presenter said a cost of £200m +, first of all Mike pulled him on it, then Dickov said he doesn’t remember agents fees & wages being included in any other transfers……..unless it’s a City player

Seems we’re now using our ‘ambassadors’ to challenge the media a bit with regards their double standards & hypocrisy regarding City

Rhys Lewis: This is a sad day for football. City can be frivolous with buying. They don't deserve this; they haven't earnt their success. They got an influx of cash and suddenly end up top of the pile. They'll probably win everything next season and turn the PL into Ligue 1.

Adam: Haaland will be amazing in the Premier League, but you do have to ask yourself - isn't it now even more pointless? If the squad stays fit, City will be untouchable for the next 4 or 5 years. The league is meant to be competitive!

One thing is as sure as night follows day, if Liverpool had bought Haaland we wouldn't be seeing sudden negative comments. Haaland was a boyhood City fan, his father played for City. Live with it.

This isn't about City being frivolous. Yes they do have the cash but so have other clubs. It's about investment in the future of the club and maintaining their status amongst the elite in Europe.

As expected, there are a lot of upset rival fans talking about money, but your clubs spent more than £51m on Fred and Naby Keita respectively.

Fuck me, it didn't take long!
He's 21. Seems he's signing a 5 year contract. Lets say he scores 20 goals a season for those 5 years, helps City win more trophies. Then in 2027, at the age of 26, he signs for Madrid for 300 million. Would you complain. Think I could live with that.

Said in a season where all media outlets are wanking themselves into a frenzy at the dips winning every thing
