Why didn't sky analyse the first Foden foul. ? No one really knows whether it was in or outside the box because they glossed over it.
If PR7 had been fouled with nothing given it would have been looked at during half time, full time and until the end of time.
If as I believe it was inside that was crucial. Apart from scouse bias I can't believe they did look at it.

Shearer’s analysis was predictable and negative. Rather than focus on how well we played it was all about how much better we’d be with a striker. Never get the credit we deserve, and no thought as to whether our mega high pressing game works better without a striker, or indeed maybe scoring 2 goals at Anfield is really easy?

The thing is, we’ve had a striker, the best dam striker the league has seen. And we weren’t any better. In fact out 3 best results at Anfield in the last 20 years have come without a striker.. Our pissing the league and reaching the CL final cane without a striker.
What these ‘need a striker’ types seem to ignore, if we have Kane for example, our pressing would be no where near as effective and we’d have to select just 4 players from Grealish, Sterling, De Bruyne, Foden, Mahrez, Gundogan, Bernardo Jesus & Torres.

Gundogan, Jesus, Bernardo, Foden & De Bruyne are all too effective to leave out. Had Gundogan replaced Grealish yesterday, we’d looked more solid defensively and offensively.

I agree mate, that was part of my point about the shallowness and wrongness of Shearer’s “analysis”. I heard danny fucking mills saying the same as Shearer this morning, which proves he was wrong
