Sly Sports News this Morning.

Guy bottom left.

"Are City killing the 'romance of football by signing Grealish and Kane?"

He then waffles on about both players being 'one of their own', etc.

During this Sam Lee looked perplexed and started smirking and smiling.(see picture)

Sam Lee has been told by Spurs sources he knows Levy and Spurs are still adamant they are not selling Kane. Lee said City are still confident of signing Kane. Lee thinks City will eventually get Kane done at some point after the Spurs match.
How about agreeing the transfer at half time in the game.
A quick change of strip and away we go...
Now that would be box office!

FFP is limiting Everton's spending, but FFP isn't limiting City 'splashing the cash'.

Dig a little deeper into the headline and the continuing narrative is there.

What have City got to do with Everton's lack of spending? The focus should solely be on Everton and their lack of spending, without City being brought into the headline and article.

The Echo have now moved City from Liverpool and their fans to Everton and their fans.

Hopefully Everton fans won't fall for the Liverpool FC Echo bullsh*t!

I await the next Echo headline and article about City. Tomorrow? Wait until Kane signs.

Question. When was the last time a Echo headline and article featured United and their spending, and how it was impacting on Liverpool and Everton? Exactly!
By revelling in net spend virtue, Liverpool fans let their own owners off the hook. If Liverpool don't win the league this season, then the team of Mane, Salah, Va Dijk and Firmino will die with just one title to show to their name and all because the Liverpool owners took the money and ran. And their supporters make a virtue of this!

I think it’s time for the club to take legal action against this character. Are we really going to stand by while he writes libellous comments about the club?
Do that, and it will create even more of a stink. The only response is for City fans to completely boycott their publications. The danger in banning people is that once the precedence is created it's City fans who will probably get hit because the media shapes opinion and what is mainstream.

How would I know that? It's not like I go out of my way to even look at the headlines.

It's an LFC fanzine, I don't know why you bother reading it all.

I never said you did know that.

I don't read it. The Echo headline alone is enough to know what the article is about, as a rule.

I look at News Now CITY ever day. Just like I look at BM every day. Amongst all the bullsh*t, made up stories, and the Liverpool Echo (City) exclusives, there is the odd article worth clicking on.

I don't see an issue with calling out the Echo and their on-going lies and misinformation about City via Blue Moon.

Understand that but this is getting beyond a joke now. These characters feel empowered by the clicks they get and as this shows, feel they can say anything.

‘Totally legit deal with Abu Dhabi Sewage Board’. This has got to be against the law?

I, you, and many of us would expect the Echo, a Liverpool paper, to ask the question of FSG, why they aren't investing in Liverpool's 1$t team and squad. Instead they are more obsessed with City's spending.

The MUEN is from the same paper stable as the Echo. Does the MUEN constantly write about Liverpool FC, FSG, their transfer spending, their finances, etc? No it doesn't.

The continued attacks on City by the Echo on behalf of FSG and LFC needs outing.

Not having a go at you, Marvin.

Sky sports news just shown the crowds outside the airport in Paris.

Oh god it's cringe.

Do these fans know he's still at home in Barcelona and on the phone to Txiki....
Oops!

Too right it does. I definitely think there is some underhand stuff going on between FSG and Reach PLC (parent group of the M(U)EN/Echo). Incidentally the current CEO of Reach PLC (Jim Mullen) used to be CEO of Ladbrokes Coral PLC up until 2018. Not saying there is a direct conflict of interest here, but certainly something that needs looking into.

Taken from this article:

"Reach's significant sports readership could even integrate with a gambling vertical. The publisher enjoyed record levels of Champions League and Liverpool FC traffic – around 17m page views within 72 hours of the final. BT, Ladbrokes, Coral, Paddy Power and Lidl were the highest sports spenders in print and online."
