At 22:30 last night it was their headline story to get people to vote, Rodri won it, and the story vanished completely within minutes.

Looks like the Birmingham Mail reporter wrote the original story from a local viewpoint, she seems pretty blameless tbf
But then as they are all part of the odious Reach PLC these days, the story gets passed around.
And so the Echo’s “SEO editor” sees a chance to convert it into lucrative clickbait by giving it a Cult FC spin, blithely expecting the plastics and grief junkies to lap it up.
Karma strikes
She has now gone into hiding online, turned her accounts private



Over 500 replies quite rightly calling them out.
So do they apologise and delete the story/tweet?
Not likely. They actually double down, saying it’s “what the family wanted”
