Interesting arrangement of pages in the DT. Yesterday after the Rags scab a draw they show Cavani in a pose that would put a Euromillions quadruple rollover jackpot winner to shame. Today, after The Foxes, with one single shot on goal, turn over the greatest team ever to be based in Liverpool 4, there is but a single column inch on the front bewailing the Dipper reverse. If you were inclined to read the match report you would have to wade through SEVEN pages of test cricket before you got to the page where a pen was missed and so too the rebound. Ah, Mo, yer were gonna miss one out of the hundreds yer've tumbled for! Mind, The DIppers have probably set a new record - they've got thirty five games under their scarlet belts before they start shooting blanks.

Because if it was the rags or dippers 6 points clear then the fans and their fans in the media would all be stating the title race was over.
Fortunately we aren't like rags or dippers.
"Their" bookie may also get a load of free advertising by paying out...leagues never won until the teams below dont have enough games to overhaul the top team. 2012 and all that.

Klopp is quoted today as saying Maddison was talking to salah to put him off. What does he want, a minutes silence so salah can concentrate to take his often ill gotten pen.

Mendy and Torres already removed from our 25-man squad on the PL site... (Torres still in the U21 list)

We can submit a revised squad list after the transfer window.

We could bring in two players who are not "home grown players" (maximum of 17 who are not HGP) - there doesn't seem any advantage in "promoting" any of the U21s. In fact it would be fun to say that with only 23 we have a smaller squad than other clubs!

Big deal. Schmeichel went walkabout before Mahrez took his pen on Boxing Day.

Talking to Raheem now but my god the R4 guy can't wait to shoehorn manure in at every nopportunity, even Bolt was at it.

Desperate cunts
Don't know who the reporter was but he said 'over on the proper side of Manchester ......' and then banged on about Ronaldo still playing at whatever age.
I found it very a strange programme in two inrespects.
1. There were plenty of references to racism but not mention at all of the sheer hatred that poured down from neutral fans and still cascades down the Kop and the rest of Anfield. lt is ideal for racists to yell abuse at a black player without being overtly so and it has gone on for 6 years. Lots of praise was given to Southgate for backing Raheem at this time but over to the other point..
2. Not even acknowledgement was given to his employers for backing him or to Pep for bringing him on as a player and having faith in him when he was having bad patches and no mention was made of the success and the trophies he achieved at City or the likelihood of another PL.medal at the end of this season.
I found it disappointing, more talksport than radio 4.
