Only had a minute scan of those tweets and associated replies, anything containing Deloony can automatically be classed as irrelevant and clear lies, but for arguments sake, a few points:

1. We are not state owned, and putting in a clear business plan and structure upon the takeover from Sheikh Mansour is wrong? Acquiring a business, putting already successful people in charge and allowing them to grow the business from initial 1/3 billion to several billion dollars at last estimate is a state bought structure, and not simply an already successful business man implementing a very successful business plan? Show us the documents which state City are state owned, they must be there, after all they wouldn’t spread lies would they?

2. Txiki joined City I think two years after Barcelona, Soriano 3 or 4 years after Barcelona, both available and obviously recruited as and when they were available, what a surprise, Deloony talking and writing nonsense which in no shape or form was true, City did not buy the Barcelona leadership structure as neither had worked for them for years, who knew, not the fücking moron Deloony, or he knew and simply lied, no, he wouldn’t would he?

3. City wage bill is far higher than everybody else’s? Ah this old gem , simple google, united way out in front by some sixty plus million, Chelsea 2nd, City and liverpool within 4 million of each and some 20 million or so behind Chelsea. Yep, just more lies spread by more morons and liars who affectionately like to be called journalists!

4. City are spending billions constantly or have spent billions. Again simple google check, the consensus is that City have spent 1.7 billion since 2008 to 2020 gross and about 1.1 billion net (so add JG and take off FT for this season, so plus another 35 million or so). A lot of money, yes, but when adjusted for starting point of where we were in 2008 and the initial cash injection to get us moving upward fully understandable and if adjusted for inflation when compared to similar cash injections, not at all excessive. We must also remember we are definitely not a selling club for first team squad players (yes for CFG and youth players) and we try and keep players here for their majority of their respective careers if successful.

5. So about 2 billion spent when including initial cost of buying City, and the Sheikh is currently looking at about a 1.5 billion profit for money spent as opposed to what the CFG is worth now with Manchester City at the forefront of that success.
Other clubs have also spent a billion plus including liverpool and united in the same timescale, Klopp more than 1/2 billion alone (though as more of a selling club have a much better net spend #netspendwankeradustment), united have spent similar amounts to City with nowhere near the success City have had.

6. American owned clubs are literally siphoning off billions from the EPL and not investing nowhere near as much of their vast profits back into their respective clubs as City are, and City have made a sizeable investment in East Manchester and the Greater Manchester area, something which often gets ignored and/or overlooked by the media and certainly not publicised as much as it should be.

Apologies, trying to write this post as quick as I can and just thought a quick few pointers against the bollocks contained in those tweets might be helpful.
But apart from that…..

Just been on sky news sport and chelski have said they lost £146 million 2020-2021 season due to varied problems including no fans due to covid and other odds and sods. Abromovich company have stated they will help out any financial help they need. Now it might be me but aren’t we being accused of getting support by our sheik (we are not) and that’s the narrative by the media. No condemnation towards them though.

But what did the Romans do for us?

What do you expect with unlimited resources, owned by a country, financed from Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund, oil money, the biggest squad in football, unpunished FFP breaches, overvalued related party sponsorships, cheating on and off the field and buying referees all wrapped up in human rights abuses and no fans.

HOUSE!

Shit! The Harris twins, Delooney, Castles and Herbert have beaten me to it.
where's all the money from the chips and pies I buy being pocketed?

There are loads, but the power is always above us.

When I was a cub reporter and I used to cover United some weeks, I would have all these old farts in the press box taking the piss out of me and tell me the City score when we were losing.

Patronising cunts.

One of my mates is Steve Bunce the brilliant boxing pundit, he thought it hilarious that I would sit in my seat at half time, rather than go to the press room and take any of their shit food or drink.

One day Paddy Crerand was sat behind me and offered me and Steve a sweet and I just blanked him.

Steve told him in no uncertain terms that he was on a hiding to nothing with me and told him I was a Moss Side Blue.

Crerand, being the smarmy twat he is tried to mock me throughout until Malcolm Christie scored for Derby to win them the game and put a dampener on their title day celebrations.

To which point, I opened up my coat and showed him the City pin badge I always had on the heart of my jumper inside my coat going to that shit hole.

Cue much hilarity from Steve, who if you are aware of his commentaries, told Paddy I had done him in cold blood.
Buncy is a top draw pundit or commentator he Absalutely knows his stuff & pisses over many

I’ve always thought Buncie comes across as a mad boxing fan who can’t believe his luck that he gets to broadcast and write about the sport. It’s one of his best qualities.
Very good to hear that he is a genuinely decent bloke as well. Not a surprise but still good to hear.
Met Buncie at the Hatton / Tszyu fight. When I asked who he thought would win, he said Tszyu but he had been told to write in his newspaper column that Hatton would. Absolute top bloke, one of the best boxing writers/ commentators in the country. Always great articles in Boxing News.

No-one cried the league was over last year when Liverpool won 7-0 and went 5pts ahead last year, no one cried about the un-competitiveness of the league when Liverpool won by a country mile a couple years ago, no one cried about it when Liverpool were 7pts ahead of us in January 2019 and I certainly didn't hear a peep about it when Chelsea went on a 13 win streak the last time they won the league.

So many in media firmly took the stance that pep wouldn't have it easy when he eventually came to the prem, that now they are just too stubborn to admit it and instead just dig in even deeper, and it's not just the fact he's won in the prem, he's absolutely dominated english football, and not just in the prem, he's literally changed the way football is played all the way through to grassroots.

Don't let anything the media and other 'fans' say affect the enjoyment you have watching this team play and win.
