Let's be honest, Mo Salah scored a great goal today. It was rightly applauded by the MOTD "analysts" in fine detail after the game. But, seriously, was it any better than Bernado Silva beating 5 players & laying off a perfect goal scoring opportunity to Phil Foden? I know my eyes are blue, but I don't think it received the plaudits it deserved. Just brilliant.

If there isn't an agenda from the Premier League through their refs officiating our games especially at Anfield, then i say it must be the media influencing the inept fu%kers.
Refs must read papers and social media, to which they will mainly pick up on "City cheats" "oil funded" etc etc as headlines and columns.
I honestly can't think why else decisions like that today go against us so much, and as i've said especially at Anfield.

Beyond a joke.

PS i hate Jordan Henderson with all my being

Lee Dixonhead so desperate for VAR to get involved and disallow KDB's equaliser because Sterling was on his hands & knees in the 6 yrd box. He is so anti-City it's untrue. Proper wanker is Lee.
City fan from wythenshawe is Lee, apparently…what aloe of bollox

Bbc leading with Alan Shearer berating us for not having a centre forward for 3-4mins.. meanwhile Salad scored the best goal of the PL and draws a comparison to Maradona.. incredible

Didn’t think it was that bad tbh. Shearer has been lauding our performances recently and him pointing out he thinks we need a centre forward is an opinion shared by plenty on here (although personally I’m not there yet). He definitely wasn’t berating us for it, he still said we were excellent. He’s right to say it this week after the performances we’ve put in though.

on his hands and kness in the box after being shoulder-barged to the floor around the penalty spot.

The latest media myth about us is our supposed inability to score goals away from home (the implication that goes alongside this being that we erred by not signing a striker). As soon as the dippers got in front today there was Tyler with his pre prepared “City have only scored 2 away league goals all season and they’ll need to score two if they want to win today” line. Ratfink added his own idiotic comment along the lines of it was “poor” of City not to support Pep by getting him the striker he wanted.

Well we did score two Martin you senile old ****, how do you like those apples. And those goals were scored by midfielders in our beautiful total football system Gary you ignorant halfwit. The facts are that from four pretty tough away games we’ve had 3 very good results - the goals will come and with them many many more good results.

You mean he didn’t point out that our 4 away games, 5 if you count the CL have been at Spurs, Leicester, Chelsea, PSG & Liverpool?

& A huge deflection off Matip .....

Enlighten me then. And if you do, I'll finally understand, and I'll stop posting in this thread. Until then.....
It's pretty straight forward. Anything Pep says regardless of how mundane, it will be twisted for headlines and side stories. The only way he gets through a PC without offending somebody or give a headline is if he stays quiet throughout.
You can't give him grief for answering questions.

Dixon was like "They've not given this yet... Is Foden offside? (no).... look at Sterling...he doesn't have to be blocking the keepers view, he just needs to be in his line of sight"

Hey Lee, how about that deflection or the fact Alison never lost sight of the ball at any point, could see De Bruyne was running onto it and dived the second it left his boot.

Some City fan, desperate for every goal we score to get the full CSI treatment. Yet never when we concede one.

Since Leicester won their title, the other 4 have played in a Champions league final, winning 2 of them.
Thats tough opposition, by any standard.

Lee Dixon is a good old school pundit and a proper blue. Far better than the bland chirpy media trained halfwits like Jenas and Redknapp who’ve hijacked modern punditry.

Having a different opinion than you on whether or not a goal should have stood doesn’t make him any less of a blue. Unless you’re 8 years old - then it might quite upset you I suppose

Nice to see Sky showing "Salah's wondergoal" from all angles. Yet ignoring the inept **** and his decisions in the middle of the park.
