Apologies if this has been said, but i think this line from paragraph 3 of the bbc story on Aguero says everything.
"Though he was unable to help City conquer Europe for the first time...."

There is no way on fucking earth that a non-city player gets this line in their playing obituary (not one who achieved anything like the level of success Kun had), never mind so high up.

Shame on them.
Even more shamefully you cannot rule out them using that shameful/shameless phrase in a real obituary if Kun had died on the pitch instead of retiring as a precaution.
I assume that it was Stone's dirty work?

Wonder if Gerard or Carragher's playing obituaries mentioned they were unable to help their team conquer the PL?
Gerrard's:
"Gerrard's unfortunate slip against Chelsea last May proved costly as Liverpool missed out on the league, the only major club honour he is missing."

Carragher's:
They don't mention his failure to win the league.

No name attributed, it's an interview piece reworked from May

I can see a lot of the so called "neutrals" changing their title winner predictions to City, while having a big moan.

To paraphrase something I just watched on youtube: "It should be Liverpool's era, what Klopp has built should be era defining but it wont be because of what City are doing and because they have Pep. I now think you need the backing of an oligarch or a state to do it. That's why I think Liverpool wont get over the line this year."

That was from someone who supports Chelsea of all clubs. He also said they've been playing some of the best football under Klopp this year(sounds suspiciously like he's trying to counter something said about another certain club there...)and that their defence is back to as solid as it was before VVD's injury.

I know their forwards, Salah in particular, have been on fire so far but am I right in thinking he's over-egging it a bit with some of those statements? I haven't been watching a lot Liverpool's football this year though I suppose but their defence and control of the games I have seen didn't indicate the best of Klopp's Liverpool or anything of the sort. Not that they haven't been good or that it's not possible that they do find that kind of form, if everything falls into place for them.

I'd rather City go under the radar personally, until they go on another 10-15 game winning streak before most have noticed. We seem to do better that way. Only 1 point clear, there's a long way to go yet. There's no room for complacency or letting that "City will win it" talk, get into the players and fans heads. This could be another long title race, that goes right up to or including May and everyone needs to be ready for it.
Liverpool cannot defend for shit this year and their front 3 are digging them out of it, with one man in particular being exceptional and a right back who’s got a wand of a right foot. They’re conceding all sorts of daft goals tho.

To be fair mate they've only let in 3 more goals than we have, they are still shit though ;)

It would be klopp wanted to bring Aguero back to end his PL career with the dippers

Normal service has resumed .....................

City hammer Leeds 7-0 - just a few lines tucked away at the back of the paper. If it had been the rags it would have been a full page with a colour supplement of the goal scorers.
I'd stop buying the paper but we spend a lot of time on the Puzzle page.

Just want to point people towards archive.ph It's a site that creates a static copy of an article.

I've started using it when pointing to really shit articles. You see people write this outrageous shite because it generates clicks and then we share it with each other and click on it, it just adds more clicks. We're feeding the market that we are rallying against.

However if you use the link above and archive the article before posting it on here, not only can you guarantee it won't be edited later (or removed) but you won't be giving clicks to the paper thus spurring them on to create more absolute fucking garbage. Only takes a minute or so to do. Obviously it's not going to crash the media industry overnight or anything but if it catches on then it could help a little. And frankly, I'm a petty bastard.

Here's one I prepared earlier. The Daily Mail gets no clicks and no revenue from you reading this.

Excellent idea. Just remember to not click on any links within the article as that takes you to a 'Live' page and clicks then count.

Courtesy of Stefan from the 93:20 pod, here's more nauseating bollocks from one of the many Scouse propagandists in the print media, on this occasion Paul Joyce of The Times. He's the weapons-grade dickhead who wrote in our Centurions season that, despite his success at City, Guardiola would be desperately jealous of Klopp because he could never enjoy the kind of bond with our fans that Jurgen does with the cultists.

That last part sums it up mate, and to be honest, I find it quite scary , Waco FC.

How does this work for paywalled articles?
