How about this headline from the Daily Mail?...

OLIVER HOLT: VAR's aim is being lost in a jungle of jargon and fear... Ederson's trip on Martin Odegaard WAS clear and obvious

Oliver Holt needs to be sacked forthwith. To all City fans, please seek out the article and comment accordingly. I have done so.

TBH I don't know why you feel the need to react. Do you expect fair comment from the commercial media? They always ride a crest of a wave to get clicks and to sell their product. That's how it works.

The way to respond is not to use the commercial media and to support City and win the next game.

Where has Fabregas been hiding for x amount of years?

Fabregas is as bitter and deluded as Keown, Dixon and the other entitled Tarquins.
Who gives a fuck what this slimy, irrelevant turd thinks anyway?
Maybe we should send Fernandinho and Kun round to see the little weasel and watch him squirm.

I have just been watching the sports news on the BBC. On the City game the guy mentioned two major VAR incidents and an avoidable red card for Gabriel... the mind boggles. "Avoidable red card"... what the hell does that mean??.

Means he was a stupid cnut for getting both bookings as they were absolutely avoidable if a City player got sent off for those two incidents I’d be fucking raging, saying that he got what he deserved from doing the scuffing of the penalty spot alone shithouse prick ..

By defending our club. It’s only us who can and do.

You defend your club by boycotting their media and by supporting the club. Posting comment on their sites just encourages discussion and gets them more clicks which is why they write the provocative pieces in the first place.

Perhaps City fan sites should stop writing review articles for the Guardian Fan Network and ex-City players should stop working for them, and the hundreds of City fans who comment in commercial digital sites that slag City off should think about what they are doing. Say one thing about the media in one breath, and in the next feed them revenue?

That is why this thread exists so we can complain about it on here and not use their comments box, well, that's what I do.

I don't buy a paper or a subscription service, they get sweet FA from me and I do not click on the DM links or the Guardian either, they will make very little out of me.

Ohhh the media cunts hurt has just cranked up a couple of notches. Every var decision right except not to look at Jesus getting two arm grabbed at the end of the first half. Clowns have conveniently decided to ignore that. When I think of the number of times we have been dry bummed at Maine Road against these smug bastards. Arguably one of my best days being a Blue. 85 year old dad says the BT bile is because the scouse cuts are further behind. Bless him!
Love it

They’ll write it anyway, the media hate us.
9/10 I would I don’t usually comment. But an event like this when we are being targeted and it is clear and obvious by all parties I will come out fighting for my club, our club.
Couldn’t give a shit about feeding them revenue. My clicks won’t put a dent in their purses.
Oh and no I won’t boycott their sites, but thanks for the advise. But you sit back and continue to click on their articles in silence, I won’t tell anyone either…
