Just been on the Dipper Echo website , its handy if you want the latest updates on our club , every other article we get a mention, they cant stop talking about us , their latest pearl of wisdom is Klippety's team have been "unlucky" this season , they are the unluckiest team in the country and this is the reason for their title collapse.
Last season it was injuries then it was too windy , the goal lines are to wide , the book of excuses the Dippers delve into every season must be the size of War & Peace , they live in a bubble and meet every fortnight at Klanfield for all the other cultists , its like a 50k self help and awareness meeting on the lines of Gamblers/Alcholic anonymous
Standing up one by one "My name is Laaaaahhhh , i am a Liverpooooooool fan and i have only seen one title in thirty years" then a burst of rapturous applause and the laying of another wreath and singing of the hymn from that very well known musical Carousel.
Is there another city in the world that wallows in self pity like LIverpooooooooooooooooooooool
Can't be true as according to Red And White Kop nobody cares about City because we a plastic club so anything we achieve is irrelevant. I know this because their fans are forever taking time out of their day to remind other fans not to take time out of their day to write about us because nobody cares!

With Pep Guardiola amongst a number of Manchester City players and staff testing positive for coronavirus, coach Rodolfo Borrell will be in charge for tonight's FA Cup tie at Swindon.
It will be the first time Borrell has been in sole charge of a team since November 2012, when he was leading Liverpool's Under-21 side into a game against Middlesbrough.
Borrell said on Thursday City are committed to fulfilling the game, although he was not too sure which players would be available.
I am guessing there is more concern over next Saturday's Premier League game against Manchester City.

excellent proof reading and editing from the BBC
tbf With the strength of our squad it was only a matter of time before we played ourselves, it's possibly the only option left to get a competitive game ;)

Yep, the media keep saying we have 2 First teams what with the size of squad and all that fabricated clickbait claptrap....

I note Dippers had 2 1st team players and Manager out and headlines on BBC was huge outbreak. We have 21 out but playing our game and no such headlines
It figures. Slightly OT and wrong thread but when I thought I couldn't loathe them any more than I do, their mate Slimy Parry helps them get first leg of Carabao postponed. I was incandescent with rage, hub keeps telling me to ' calm down' - in a non ironic way. I hate them.

And no I am not a Ragette.

I've seen a couple of references on here to IPTV, especially as an alternative to BTsport - I googled that and dropped them a line (actually to 'PHTV'?) asking about the subscription package, £60pa. They weren't very detailed in response - do you get all the BTsport games, and how do (any of you who have it) rate the service, re buffering etc? And who provides the commentary for them? thanks, j

Guardian 10 things to talk about from the FA Cup: "City, clear at the top of the Premier League, have this week been strengthening their finances further by adding an Abu Dhabi-based
FA renewable energy company to their sponsorship ts the portfolio." The journalist's point was on the face of it to draw a contrast between the wealth of City and Swindon but in reality it's just click-bait and sadly there are still some City fans who Why does it matter that the company is based in Abu Dhabi? The magic of the FA Cup is essentially about ties like this.

If you are commenting in the Guardian, why?

Big rich club play small poor club and win lose or draw Swindon will benefit from it. As you say that's the magic of the FA Cup.
Swindon and fans must be delighted they can watch the team of the decade.
Who will be most after the City shirts - the kids or the Swindon players?

its still channels like BT, Sky etc just the money isn't lining their pockets.

Obviously you would need to have VPN in place so the stream doesn't crash.

Beauty of the IPTV i pay for is I get football on all channels across the world, so even South Africa, USA, Aus and the far east

No we have decided the only way we can get a decent game is to play ourselves. Eddie will swap sides at half time.

You need a free stick and subscription plus vpn. So probably about £140 ish tonget you going but then you can watch any game and thousands of films. Not super difficult but it helps if you have someone who knows what they're doing to set it up for you.

I do 6 months subscription as occasionally the channel gets blocked. Pays for itself after 2 3 months.

Why do you need a VPN ? I don’t have it and mine works fine.
