But they can still have their Caraboo cup parade, along with the runners up medal’s and a big banner “we nearly won the lot”.

So his " 1 PL in 30 years comment " is the real knife into the heart of the comparison of the success of the two managers in their respective times in the PL , and the dippers simply do not have as valid response as of today.

I agree totally. That 1 title in 30 years doesn't get trotted out enough. If it was the other way round we'd be labelled as a cup team with no real fight in us to win the ultimate prize, Champions of England, the toughest league in the world - well, it is when they're selling the product, but second to the CL when talking about Liverpool.

It’s called issues management and is standard practice where a good pr dept exists.
 
A certain manager used this type of situation to galvanise his team and supporters and it worked, i think Pep is playing a blinder here has them in total hysterics.

Would it be because,

A, The wind was too strong, thats why they’ve less points,

B, The grass was too long, thats why they’ve less goals scored,

C, The VAR has been against them, and that’s why they’ve conceded more goals.

With all these things against them. it doesn’t matter they have all the best players in every position (including subs). The league is a fix, and bought with dirty Arab petro dollars!

That’s why they are underdogs, everyone knows it!
 
I wonder who Sky will roll out to defend their Liverpool bias? Kenny Dalglish's daughter? Jamie Carragher? Redknapp? Or maybe even Sadio Mane's girlfriend who they signed off a Liverpool fanzine?

Nah who am I kidding, they can just throw Danny Mills £20 and he'll gladly be the voice of Man CIty and tell us Pep is losing it and that if anything, Liverpool get a harder ride in the press

The fact that the media go on about it being pep v klopp & completely ignoring what Tuchel has done, 4 finals in 12 months & beating City in a champs league final.
 
I had TalkShite on in the car this morning and the news gimp on there managed to get the Haaland figure to £500M...
