Daily Mail even worse this morning. Leading the sports page online with the FA Youth Cup match between Rags and Forest, ramping both teams up when they are 20 points behind our kids! Our Erling the size of a postage stamp way down the page. Don't believe that was down to page view chasing, just biased piss being boiled by our star signing.
Pop back on there & read their latest guff about Pep, our spending, ffp, PL investigation blah blah blah, it gets that far away from the subject matter I had to re-read it, proper fell down a black hole, when I came out I just laughed my fuckin head off! Regurgitated shite

I don't know why your all being so defensive, I'm sure in the 80's when Liverpool were dominating and then went out and bought Beardsley and Barnes the media were the same, and in 2001 when utd had just won the prem for the 3rd year in a row and went out and bought veron and van nistelrooy, I'm sure the media weren't any different...

Ha ha

Well, Oliver, what a masterpiece! This months final, between Liverpool and Real Madrid, suggests the top table belongs, for now at least, to the true aristocrats of the European game, not to the arrivistes." We know all about Liverpool and their murderous crowd but also about the computer hacking, the miraculous deliverance from administration in 2010 and the takeover by FSG. We've heard of deals to sell training grounds in Madrid and state aid for "true aristocrats". Then there are the other aristocrats of the game: "ManU", Barcelona, Juventus, the Milans and Bayern Munich. Do you include Chelsea, Oliver? Take Munich out of it and we have a collection of aristocrats as impoverished as any true blue blooded milord. Distinguished by the level of their debt and in one case at least unable to pay the wages they are obliged by contract to pay. Thank god that UEFA came up with its unlawful FFP to make sure their place at the "top table" was guaranteed from seizure by arrivistes. Greater thanks to God that it didn't work.

Holt, Kay, Cromwell or Hardy?

That’s the thing, it is another team who could win the quadruple, not us.

The fact we are in the way of that is somehow seen as us blocking the plucky underdog, whose current manager has spent £700m, has their two main players negotiating huge contracts and already has a very similar annual wage bill, and yet this is good for all including neutrals!

Not too mention this same team owners with the help of another American owned team has twice in the last two seasons tried to change the whole footballing landscape by basically creating a closed shop where no other teams can enter unless invited to do so by owners who have zero interest in inviting them.

But, City are the bad guys? How…
Just by simply having the word "Liverpool" plastered on the front door and a manager that does his fake smiles and fist pumps for the cameras.

I'm sure Jordan has forgotten more about running a club than me, it's just a shame he forgot it whilst running his club.

But I'm pretty sure our Chairman (and senior Execs) are better at it than Jordan ever was, which is why we are now a self funding juggernaut of a club.

Jordan lecturing our owners on how to run a football club/business.

lol

"There was also the moment when he made the rash decision to go into the dressing room early into his time as chairman after a defeat to Grimsby. One of the players, Andy Morison, responded by passing wind at Jordan."

Fantastic stuff...

It was only a matter of time before Pep hit back.

Whether the timing is right or not, we'll see.

I think he should have waited until the season was over and City are Champions, hopefully?

All Pep is doing now is galvonising Klopp and his team with his (true) PL Champions comment.

Oh come on, galvanising klopp and the inhalers, you're not serious are you ?

"City were found guilty" what a lying piece of shit.
If he said that then we should take action. Just a blatant lie which suggests our owner has carried out financial fraud. He is essentially saying our accounts have been falsified. We were cleared on all allegations after a very rapid hearing because the evidence was non-existent. Essentially we admitted not-cooperating with UEFA for the reasons everyone knows. In fact we put a rare press release out and said we were withdrawiing from the UEFA process and going straight to CAS. CAS drastically reduced our fine for non-cooperation because they understood what had happened to us was unreasonable.
