There's an intellectual dishonesty in that piece like a lot of similar stories.

And to state that we overturned a ban because the allegations were time barred without mentioning that there were a number of allegations that weren't time barred makes this piece more PR than journalism.

Yep it's all bollocks. The only "news" is that Maguire reckons an NDA had probably been signed years ago between City and the PL. Who knew? Maguire saying the PL needs to be independent so an NDA makes sense (well, knock me down with a feather), and then the whole thing being embellished with inaccuracies by some no-mark called Will Seager.
