It's a bit more complex as the original tweet is from someone who focuses on the care sector, and is more concerned that it's pretty much a foreign govt seeing children's homes as a money spinner. Lots of his posts are about private care, and he also points out that one of the people who (at least I think he's saying this) made most money from the Italian sale was a big Tory donor - so aiming at them too.

Entirely legitimate concerns in my opinion.

The guy making the link to Erling Haaland and City writes about human rights issues in the Middle East, and is essentially click-baiting by trying to link the two (and the link is there as Khaldoon Al Mubarak is CEO of the fund that bought the company). He's worked for Human Rights watch and his focus on the area doesn't appear to be the same kind of convenient interest that a lot of Liverpool supporting journalists seem to have recently discovered (although the red team do appear to have been given a free pass for playing in Qatar because they asked him for advice first!). Whether you think trying to link genuine concerns with Man City to raise their profile is valid, is a different argument.
Just wait until they discover orphans are having their sweets and spending money confiscated to get around ffp and pay for the next big City signing.

But it will equate as sales massively increase on Dipperside because of every media outlet blowing smoke up their arses
They won't buy the sun and I am going to guess that the sun will be the NE's favourite paper lol, of course, it could be the Mirror?

Does anyone still buy newspapers? Each region had its own edition now it is all national.

The problem with online editions is not just the clicks but the propensity for manipulating interest. Were not Liverpool exposed as using click manipulators?

The other thing that confuses me in the post by City is the name His Highness.
I always thought that Der Spiegal tried to use the HH as proof that Sheik Mansour was the person who sanctioned the so called "Etihad additional payments" when in fact his title is His Excellence ... or have I got that completely wrong ?
I thought that was more to do with how Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Mansour were referred to internally at City and in UAE, rather than a difference in their actual titles?

Lad called Amrik got a dart in the head at OT and there were pics of him with police. There was a pic in the MEN of Alan Potter being led around the pitch at Burnden Park by a diminutive Police Woman before KO because he couldn't fit through the turnstile IIRC
We were sat on the wall at the front of the stand with our legs through the fence. The guy who got the dart in his head was right behind us all match.
A Rag from Stretford was arrested at the end of the game. He was shouting it was me you Blue bastards as he was being led out. Apparently he got off in court because he claimed the dart came out of the City fans and he just palmed it away. But don't know if that bits true

Tbf, I think City’s defence of the HH thing was nonsense. Had we made an admission here, I don’t think it would have made any difference. We probably produced other evidence that the payment came from Etihad airways. If I remember correctly the HH email did not say HH would pay us, but something like he would get it sorted.

From memory, Der Spiegel refused to give access to the stolen emails/data or the multiple hard drives they were stored on.
I think the above posts are correct. Der Speigel wanted to protect their sources. Note that none of the hateful eight or nonsensical nine had seen any real evidence before they called for our suspension.

Correct. From what I recall being told, City were shocked to learn Uefa just had copies of the articles.
CAS had already warned that they were inclined not to take notice of evidence in the form of newspaper facsimiles. UEFA then produced their statement that they were not relying on such but on a document provided by City. In the event, they did not produce it, because it was fictional.
