Seems to make sense. Libel lawyers are weird cunts. Very well paid weird cunts.

My baby-mother was niece to a man called David Wraith. Successful businessman. Owned Scunthorpe United. Made his money out of portacabins. Tragic story overall. Made a claim for slander against his (then ex)wife in the early 90s when she had accused him of shagging a brass in the Dam. Brass in the Dam! Would you credit it?! Think that was about the fourth slander case to get to the High Court in the 20th century. Think he won, but lost. Or maybe the other way round. Either way, the only party that won were the bloodsucking lawyers. Fucking lowlife cunts. Shame the profession.

My advice to anyone: don’t bother with a slander claim. It’s a truly wank cause of action.
