They’ve basically interviewed a know nowt **** because of what he’ll say, not because of his knowledge on the subject.

Atkins couldn't even get the charges right. His central claim was that City's sponsor deals were "inflated above market value" but that suggestion was dismissed by all parties after repeated audits. The central allegation is that some of our sponsor payments came from Sheikh Mansour not directly from the sponsors but that was debunked totally by CAS and stressed in their written statement (that angle was the headline they used on their press release) Atkins is, as you point out, a stooge.

Some of this line of questioning is absolutely embarrassing. They are doing everything they can to convince Pep it’s best that he walks away if we win the treble. Honestly, this interview seemed totally absurd to me. They are so desperate for him to leave. They don’t ask this to anyone else.

Whatever charges we face they pale into insignificance against a grown man spitting in a child’s face.

Well, I’ve not been hiding so much, I was mainly on Twitter, but I got completely banned forever after the Liverpool Madrid CL final. I didn’t do much wrong though, other than upset a Liverpool journalist with a blue tick. But I’d also upset a very well known boxing promoter at the same time when I revealed his fighters had to take him to court for not being paid. I’ve tried to get back on, but they’re not having it. I don’t want to now anyway, I like how you can write long details on Bluemoon and that it’s just mainly City fans. I did actually frequent Bluemoon a lot of the year but only to look at gossip etc

Yeh, I wonder what she was hinting at when she said she’d spoken with arteta on Friday and he’d said “I can’t say too much cos I was there, but I know what we are up against”. He might have been meaning the intensity of the back room staff to keep the levels up etc, but I’m sure she was hinting at something more sinister…
