Does anyone get the feeling that if we do the treble it’s being underplayed,and I don’t mean the mentioning of the premier league charges alongside,but for instance Neville and carragher last night saying they will and should win it,and totally disregarding the 2 teams we have to play,it’s not a foregone conclusion we will win either of these games,and other variables come into play,also is some of it being said written more in the hope it’s like put a hex on us.If we fail to win either cup finals the media will declare it a poor season where as we know that not to be the case .

Don't listen to any rags who tell you they took to European competition like ducks to water either. It will be underplayed if we achieve it. If we do not it will be used as a beating stick by the usual suspects and sneerers. Especially if we trip up in the CL final.

Yep, they’ve got a universal attitude of anything less is a failure, and if we do it, it’s “well they should win it with all their oil money” we’ll never be what we are, in their eyes (one of the greatest) and I couldn’t give a monkeys chuff, I’m experiencing it not them, I see the joy in & around the club, it’s enough for me, and doesn’t need rubber stamping by a load of green eyed nobodies

May I also point out as a semi frequent visitor to the Granite City that Aberdeen proudly proclaims itself as "the oil capital of Europe!"

My daughter who's at uni there says the Kilties are all Gers/ nited fans unfortunately. The second team of the city have just got relegated from the Scots Championship, Cove Rangers.

Much as it physically makes me want to vomit, Spurs historically have been a big club domestically and in Europe. They might not have won the league since 1961 but I was jealous as hell of their frequent Wembley visits, growing up.

I think it's very enlightening looking at the list of Uefa competition winners on Wiki, spurs have 3 euro trophies, not to be sneezed at, the Hammers have got 2, and Ipswich are on the same number as us (currently!!!!), 1.

The scribblers obviously care enough to take note of the deranged ramblings on squawk, ramblings of people who have never attended a game and are now comically giving up on football. I would assume these cretins probably all come from a middle class background and have been fortunate enough to have mummy and daddy waste their money on having them educated, yet all they can do is sink to the tar pits of Mordor for their research. Criminal actions were committed against our club and supporters in the same period, yet these brave upstanding seekers of truth have done nothing to question the lack of interest from a certain police force, politicians and a rival clubs officials.
