I’m an FOC so I remember back in the 70s the BBC used to have a helicopter flying above the teams coaches making their way to Wembley with a full running commentary. I know it’s hard to comprehend but the FA Cup Final at that time was literally the biggest game in the world.

It definitely won’t be when we hammer the fuckers.

As a footy mad youngster FA cup day was the best. One of my favorite memories was listening to Stuart Hall laughing his head off on Cup final edition of It's a Knockout. It's so different now, not as special. There's been recent years where If City arn't involved I've DVR'd it and watched it later.
