The Fail's first two stories on their online site, both about the rags. Absolutely deliberate ploy. Expect nothing to change if we win it tonight

Are we playing who has the last word?

We shall see.

Behind a paywall but the headline is enough.
Here you go here's the web archive version:

My comments below the article:
Wow, Sam, you so seem very bitter about it.

I'd calm down f I was you, as this article verges on libel.

UEFA lost, like the Premier League will, because the top clubs, who objected to City joining the "Golden Trough" of cash tried to set the rules to stop City and keep their cartels going.

City having employed the best to run the club, set about complying with these rules, running close to the wind, but complying as any business would.

The top clubs didn't like this and decided City HAD TO BE BE FOUND GUILTY and pushed UEFA to find City guilty and their cronies inside UEFA's compliance unit were all to willing to help.

Getting nowhere pretty fast, the stolen emails, published by Der Spiegel, were a gift and they used them as their weapon to beat City. Sadly in their rush they didn't actually note that there were only 6 emails out of hundreds of thousands that were "smoking guns". They then failed to check the context of these emails or that one email was actually a fake (bring two emails bolted together to change the meaning of both).

It is actually called INCOMPETENCE Sam snd wanting to find guilt were there is none.

City were eventially only found "Guilty" of non cooperation - which considering UEFA was a Kangeroo court is unsurprising.

Some say some of the charges were time bared but that is only because CAS knew it wasn't worth investigating them.

Now then Sam enjoy your bitterness, because its going to get worse because the Premier League charges will have exactly the same ending.
Hopefully he won't be attending the Etihad next season. Time for the club to clamp down on these morons.

Colin Shindler being a twat in the Times, "City's success is tainted - I won't watch my team."

He goes on to say "The record of the owners of City... with regards to civil rights or human rights abuses appears not to bother 99.9 per cent of supporters."

Just because you wrote a book about City, don't assume you know what we think, you entitled prick.
It's strange how Shinwatras reign isn't viewed in the same limelight. Would have been completely different had Pep been at the helm then.

It's the "Our lawyers were better than UEFA's" narrative-not even original TBH.
Yet another attempt to own and distort the narrative. You can see why EUFA and the PL were keen to press the actions - as many have said it's reputational damage they want. The result of the process is not important to them. The fact that Wallace and people like him are content to support this narrative should be seen as shocking and he and all the others should be exposed for what they are. They have no interest in objectively analysing the facts or presenting City's case and side of the argument. They are just towing the 'party line'. It will never spoil my enjoyment of what City are doing and I can see merit in just ignoring these idiots. But another part of me wants them to be exposed. There are small signs in the media that this is happened and outside of the red top fan people on social media I get the impression that we are appreciated by many fans of other clubs.
