When human rights abuses, famine & treatment of immigrants are mentioned in relation to City it should be historical.

Without the deliberate starvation of the people of Ireland, mass migration into Manchester wouldn’t have occurred. Areas of little Ireland, Angel Meadow, Ancoats described as a living hell or the worst place on earth wouldn’t or shouldn’t have existed. The centre of the industrial revolution & typhoid & Cholera became a breeding ground for gangs & violence which were solved by the introduction of boys & sports clubs such as St Marks.

There is a link & a story but it’s just not part of the Agenda.

Always surprises we don't have more Irish support as our founder was a vicars daughter from Tipperary I think, Ann Connell rings a bell, but may have got name wrong.
