We’re not really here ;-)
It’s not bud. You need to watch it again. Coutinho was not offside when the ball was played@Stephen230 I have often seen an opponent stood offside in our half whilst we are attacking. The player then moves into his half, receives the ball and is immediately flagged offside. It has already happened this season. That is basically the same as Couthinio did.
L'Equipe, Marca, and Gazetta all give us respect and talk about why we are one of the favourites to win it. Whilst the UK media is doing its best to promote every other British club over us.We are among the favourites because of the quality we have in our squad. It's nothing to do with our previous results.
Good point about Mubadala. I forgot about them. They have been investing all over the UK. Manchester has done really well at getting overseas investment in recent decades and without it the city would be on its knees. That said I think Neville knows full well what he is doing with his comments.Tbf, the AbuDhabi gov has involvement in several development projects in Mcr. through Mubadala which is an SOE, chaired by Khaldoon.
I have no objection to Neville saying AbuDhabi has helped to transform Manchester, provided he doesn’t elide that with saying AbuDhabi owns City (which he does).
Neville does not understand the meaning of the word shareholder, e.g. talking about united’s own money as opposed to Glazer money.
Calling for Mansour to be interviewed on his “ownership” of City is bonkers. CFG own City and Mansour’s company is CFGs principal share holder. The top spokesman cannot be one of the shareholders; it should be the chairman, a certain Mr.Khaldoon, who I think makes himself available for interview in all countries where CFG have a club.
He must have banged his head to say that.I don’t like Barney Ronay but I did enjoy this on City and Brighton in the latest Football weekly -
“Other teams seem to think it’s cheating for them to have competent people running things”
I just had a gander at the BBC website. The main page figures Women's World Cup and the CL. The Wales Women are given as much space in that article as we've probably had from a positive stance to cover the the Good Sheikh's tenure. They then, after exhausting Wales Women to the nth degree, move on to the CL - Celtic, Tottenham, PSG, LIverpool, Benfica, Shakhtar, and, oh we get a sniff of a mention, Sevilla don't, and that's yer lot. The BBC as a balanced, impartial reporter long since died. They are just laughable. The sooner they become a subscription channel the better.L'Equipe, Marca, and Gazetta all give us respect and talk about why we are one of the favourites to win it. Whilst the UK media is doing its best to promote every other British club over us.
It's embarrassing.

This is the defining point with any offsides! Pity linos get it wrong. Must be a human trait that they flag for what they think they've seen and not what actually happened.Well if he’s in his own half when the ball is played ( not when he received it ) and he’s given offside, it’s the wrong call, end of story. Nothing to do with any complicated interpretation.
