There does appear to be a new found optimism that they have turned yet another corner amongst their fans and the press. Ten Hag has steadied the ship a little, the result against liverpool and arsenal sent them a little giddy. We are a much better team with excellent players all over the pitch. We do need to be at it from the off though and convert all our chances. It would be nice to be consistently good throughout the whole 90+ mins as well rather than just one half.

They have a manager now who can coach and he can coach to improve individual players and why we need to knock them down a peg today with a stonking win

They’ve turned more corners than pac-man. They do seem better but that leathering they got from Brentford was hilarious. If they play anything like that today we’ll get 10.
We would but they won't play like that, unfortunately.

The daily telegraph are reporting there are demands for Sheikh Mansour to be investigated for sanction busting. Allegedly he has helped the likes of Roman Abrohamovic moor his yacht there.
Is the Derby any time soon ?
I can't see Sheikh Mansour stood on the dock tying Abramovich's yacht off (or whatever you do with a super yacht).

Can't be arsed looking this morning.

If City win look at the media. If ity lose or draw ignore the media.

The article referred specifically to Dubai, with the Sheikh mentioned as Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE. Dubai has its own Prime Minister of course, Sheikh Mohammed al Maktoum and I'm going to take a wild guess that he'd be fully involved in any such decision.

And, in any case, it's only mainly the USA, Canada, UK, EU (plus Norway & Switzerland), Australia and Japan who've imposed sanctions. Most other countries haven't so I'm not sure what the basis of the complaint is.

The complaint to the FCO was made by two UK lawyers representing an unnamed 'Ukrainian activist'. The Glazer family actually originated in Lithuania.

Oh that was classic. Sky Sports News are doing their live link from pitchside at the ground.

Melissa Reddy, the scouser with the lovely cherubic tones, didn't realise they was back on air, was fiddling with her phone and says for fuck sake before realising they was live.

Fuckin hilarious.
Video?
