To be perfectly honest I try not to listen to the negative shite as it would wind me up. I remember when we were shite and we still turned up in numbers. In actual fact I kind of think we enjoyed the up and down nature of the club rather than the mediocrity of just hovering around 13th/14th in the PL season after season.

I'm absolutely fine with the takeover. I've never once looked into who owns us. I love every home game. I enjoy us playing the style we play, we're the best team in the best league in the world. Our style is now copied by near enough every club in England - every league. Defenders are now expected to be able to play out instead of the hoof ball stuff we were all brought up with - that's down to us.

I also couldn't give a monkey's chuff about the CL - genuinely. It would be nice to win it just to shut the fannies up, but that's all. It's a cup competition that you can enter even if you finish 20+ points behind the Champions of your own league and if you win it you're the best team in Europe. Yeah, right. As I've said before it's actually akin to calling the FA Cup winners as the best team in England.

So, Spitty and Shit Tash can carry on with their American backed agenda (don't kid yourself that their owners have nothing to do with this - all the talk about oil money actually detracts from something that should be getting very, very close attention - American ownership and how much they take out of the league every season).

So, just enjoy the football and the trophies when we win them. Every now and then watch YouTube videos of the Blackburn and Gillingham games - we were fucking great back then as well.
You’ve echoed my thoughts maig.
No question we have changed the way football is played in the PL. One day that will be generally acknowledged but in the meantime we should stop worrying about what people say and just enjoy the beautiful football we play.
I miss the old days too….winning games had a more special feel about it then it in a funny way….guess it didn’t happen that often!

Riddled with lies and mistakes. The usual state-funded bollocks. Describes City’s management as “paranoid.” It says We are Ballon D’orr team of year. False. We are the Club of the Year for our work off the pitch. Just more fucking insults from a classless biased twat.
Thought the award went to the club with the most player's nominated for the balon d'or award?

Spot on. For paranoia read challenging inaccurate hypocrisy. They are desperate because their poison is t working
Some of our supporters are paranoid, of course they are; every club must have them. Isn’t the point that every rational supporter I know can see the press we get for what it is. And that tendentious press coverage doesn’t just extend to the club, but us as supporters. The way these Hillsborough chants have recently been reported vs ‘Lizzie’s in a box‘ being a…err…clear and obvious case in point. It’s an absolute fucking disgrace and unfortunately partly a consequence of the respective club’s media strategies.

We, as supporters, are collateral damage from City’s strategy, basically. It’s why, for the first time since he came, I’m genuinely annoyed with Pep for fuelling that narrative. Fucking fuming actually.

Mehh. He is an irrelevance. But when Klopp conflates clubs owned by sovereign wealth funds with those owned by individuals, and then states we can spend what we want, when we clearly can't, it's a completely different ballgame. Let's see if he does it again, or whether the little shot across his bows worked.
It would be very interesting to find out what dividends FSG and its directors take out of the club ? They will be on a par with what Uniteds owners take out I’m sure. The difference is our owners don’t need our club as a source of annual income and invest in the team and infrastructure. FSG are purely in it for income , they as a club generate enough to spend plenty each window and that’s a fact. Liverpool fans will soon turn on them once they see the financial truths of their owners, FSG are just a slightly different version of United - only Liverpool have a competent manager and youth structure, they’re Americans at the end of the day , it’s all about what they can get out of it. When bingo toddles of back to Germany they will unravel.

Glad someone else said it. Sometimes his comments are fucking stupid. This time he has really painted the fan base in a bad light and has only served to fuel the narrative that they are the victims in all this

Nice try turn coat - there's no road back for you with this particular fanbase...........
Just another clickbait tweet from Humphreys. Designed to draw comments from the usual suspects. He and his channel has been as guilty as anyone of peddling the false narrative about City and our fanbase. He knows what he is doing.

City as a club is on an incredible trajectory and Carragher and co know this.... A joy to watch their pathetic and poorly articulated attempts to discredit our achievements..
Our owners are creating a self financing monster through infrastructure, they’re light years behind us, Liverpools infrastructure are Bosè speakers cranking up the volume pre kick off, we are on a different level full stop , we are the model of a new age football club , and they , or United won’t catch us anytime soon.

It is based on success achieved at all levels of the club including the Academy and other elements of development. There are specific categories. It is wider than on or off the pitch. It is for the whole club.

He’s given them the opportunity to misquote what he said and present those Hillsborough chants as established fact. If the club want to fight this war in a supine way that’s their business, but they have a duty of care to protect us supporters when the need arises, which they have plainly and pitifully failed to do on this occasion.

I feel very let down.

Right didn't know that, I read somewhere the other day it was based on the amount of players nominated, the same article mentioned some Spanish bellend ranting about us winning the award on that chingrito, or whatever its called, footy programme they have over there.
