This is why this thread is great and important. Apart from positive City articles, which let's be honest are few and far between, it allows us to highlight the stupidity of the Scouse (and Rag) infested media and social media. If you want to watch the video Google it. No link.

This is why the dangers of eating food out of skips and bins should highlighted in the media

I once had to do the nipple count and hold a pool cue for Pandora Peaks while she bounced up and down on a mini trampoline in the office.

Do I have to even state she was naked?

I was also a trainee there for a while.
I worked at The Land o Cakes when Tony Livesey was at The Sunday Sport. He used to come in with another guy on a Saturday afternoon and they’d sit there getting pissed and making up all the ‘features’ for the following day. A starting point was often Anne Boleyn and the word head!
They were both a good laugh and really good customers.

Where did woman's rights go so wrong :)

They were the best of times and...

Most northern footie writers went through the Daily/Sunday Sport sports desk at one time or another.

Sullivan and Gold are obviously huge footie nuts and invested in huge wages to have all the Northern lads and trainees boxed off -The Athletic of its day in terms of sports desk.

From what I recall, Darren Lewis eventually quit because he couldn't cope with pg3 girls and escort girls walking past the desk each day, compromising his strict Christian beliefs!!!

You think he would have had an inkling reading the front of the book each day.

Other initiations I had to do was the Phal curry challenge in 30 seconds and how many dry Jacobs Cream Crackers you could eat in two minutes.

Imagine being 18 and being told to interview Dave Beasant because he broke his foot with a bottle of salad cream.

If you could see through the cigar smoke, I'm sure there would have been a HR office somewhere.

I was earning £50k a year before I was 20 and hanging out with Lindsey Dawn McKenzie!!

She was rough!!
Tough life, Tolm.

I worked in the building across the road (now the Travelodge) between 1981-84, and went in there a couple of times (a week). Anything to get out of that office!

Going back to the late 70s the Land o' Cakes was always a big City pub. Don't know why as it's a long way from Maine Road but we often ended up in there after staggering up via the Oldham Street pubs and it was always rammed with Blues on matchdays.

Fucking hell how? Surely that would kill the advert time with all the erms expanding any analysis by 80%

I seem to recall Dean Holdsworth leaving his wife for Lindsey Dawn McKenzie and his missus being interviewed about it… she simply said… dunno what he sees in her our dog is better looking !

Listened to Talksport on the way home (i know, i know) they had a Leeds fan on saying Phillips has gone to a better club, not a bigger club which got me and my brother thinking what the f*ck?
So my brother did a bit of googling…

City formed : 1880 (St Marks)
Leeds formed : 1919
Which means we won 3 x 2nd division titles and an FA Cup even before they were formed!

City highest attendance : 84,569
Leeds highest attendance : 57,892

2003 before the takeover (when we were shit)
City average attendance : 46,245
Leeds average attendance : 39,120

So now the shit will hit the fan and lots of “journo’s” will be writing bollocks about Leeds being a historic club and us with no history blah blah blah - just remember the above!

Any more interesting facts from other blues will be more than welcome

Welcome Kalvin Phillips - up yours Leeds!
Your still small for a one-town-club
