He should be ready to talk about all of the issues in the Middle East any day now .....................Has Socialist Gary spoken yet?
It's a bit like the (very) apocryphal story of William Shatner proposing to Stevie Nicks but getting turned down because she didn't want to be known as Stevie Shatner Nicks.Hope you never meet Mrs H who thinks he’s God. He used to date Jerry Hall, could you imagine if they got married?
Bit like Vijay Singh the Golfer, he was dating Nick Faldo’s caddy, Fanny Sunneson, he told Nick he was going to marry her, he said “I’m going to make her Fanny Singh”.
Lol, my mate always brings that one out when we do the name mash up’s, his other one is the Musical collaboration, Dire Strait’s and Chris Rea. He does a mean Zippey impression as well as Eddie from Early Doors. It's a bit like the (very) apocryphal story of William Shatner proposing to Stevie Nicks but getting turned down because she didn't want to be known as Stevie Shatner Nicks.
There was no supervision for children's TV presenters during the 70s or 80s at the beeb..No supervision at the bbc salford on a Saturday
My point being just because 654 billion fuckwits love the beatles (or united/livarpool) doesn't mean I have to.Yeah there first four or five albums were very good, but I always thought Bryan Ferry was a bit of a twat
Sorry Nedum, Onuoha...talking about poorly informed!!Like a lot of City fans at the moment I try to avoid the mainstream media as much as possible for the constant barrage of digs/insults/lies etc.. As I don't have SKY Sports or BT this pretty much means avoiding commentary matches on Radio 5 or Talkshite (and papers!)
These days I always listen to the match on the City website. Today in the studio it was Nedum Onuhua and Martin O'Neill. Nedum obviously is a blue but O'Neill (even though he played briefly for us) I would imagine has a lot more allegiance to Forest. Basically though it was 2 intelligent, articulate ,well informed ex players talking a lot of sense and actually being quite objective and entertaining to listen to.
These 2 certainly have a lot more 'upstairs' than your average player/ex player for sure. I'm not saying all pundits need to be on the same intellectual level as them ,but it was so much more interesting and engaging to listen to than the usual shite.
Like most fair minded City fans I don't particularly want smoke blown up our arses like they do to the media darlings. However it was nice not having to put up with all the poorly informed/researched, biased bollocks that is spouted on the above mentioned media outlets
