The Daily Fail on line was in classic mode last night.
Sports Headlines
Utd face six times winners Sevilla in Europa League Quarters

Second in the headlines
City to play Bayern and Chelsea take on Real Madrid

Of course the EL is where it's at now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday nights are the new Wednesday night in rag land. Long May it be that way.

No nights would be even better!
Nah.
The Thursday night "MUFC journey" is far more enjoyable for me.
It's European football, but nowhere near the level they once had. So close, but so far away.
If they finished outside the European places then the Glazers would have to look seriously at their "soccer investment" as the revenues and media interest would reduce. This could result in a massive overhaul with, God forbid, somebody who is competent getting a grip on the team and having a successful long-term plan.
Let them toddle along in the Europa League playing Villarreal...

Nice interview at the start of Football Focus today. Alex Scott chatting to Vinnie. Very respectful of his achievements at City and Burnley.

Take a guess who wrote this….

Along the same lines, this was the third time in seven seasons that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City absolutely destroyed Bundesliga opposition in the last 16. The 7-0 win over Leipzig made it 22 goals in the last six such games. Such a scoring gap primarily comes from a financial gap, and one that goes beyond City’s state ownership.
Delaney?

This commentator in Serbia has been spouting shite all evening and finished it off with: Calvin Phillips has the ball, they call him the yorkshire pirlo, better than the yorkshire terrier, even though there is some resemblance
Moron, made me laugh though

Disgraceful article in the Fail following our win with the usual accusations. Left a comment but doubt it'll get past the red top censors.
Saw it, basically saying should football fans really be admiring City when they have all these charges over their heads, blah blah fucking blah. They have to keep mentioning it so as to keep the dippers and rags happy as they are thinking things have gone a bit quiet on that front
