I mean what chance was there of two scousers appearing on sky sports news talking about City. It's as though they did it on purpose or something, I just don't know
This run in will be like the final scenes of the Godfather. The narrative has already gone into overdrive: "United must stop City winning a treble for the good of football." But I have a feeling that his season is Pep's destiny. He has been building towards this finale for the last six years. This is the moment for City to take revenge on the "dirty tricks brigade" of Bayern, Real Madrid, United, Arsenal (and the helpless onlookers at LFC). Pep has that glint in his eye.
Someone should have told Sue Smith to go and put the kettle on,
Not sure if this has been posted, but Warnock said this, he's going to make piss boil
Is that "Bobby" firmino on the left!?
Love the end of that film, banger, literally. This run in will be like the final scenes of the Godfather.
Wonder what he thinks of half rat half, half shit **** Gary Neville and Lurch Neville, Bury lads pouring money and shit into Salford City and incestuous ginger toe sucker, acorn cock Scholes, Oldham lad, doing the same. The guys got a point because those 3 clubs were doing so well before City got moneyed.
Let’s not call it a finale…The narrative has already gone into overdrive: "United must stop City winning a treble for the good of football." But I have a feeling that his season is Pep's destiny. Getting blamed for Oldham, Rochdale and Bury playing non league football now....
Ten years before that we did a league tour of themManchester City; ruining neighbouring clubs since 2008.
You’ve been ClarkiedDon't be so fucking stupid.
A succession of rank owners is the reason for their demise.
They all crowed when we nearly went tit up !!
Teams' fortunes will always fluctuate. What an absolute pile of fucking nonsense that’s got fuck all to do with the one main issue he glosses over. Those clubs were run terribly, certainly Oldham Athletic were. World class clubs? You just need to be bigger. If you’re at any of those clubs, Preston, Bolton, Blackburn, Blackpool, Wigan are all bigger. You’d think the two Manchester and Scouse clubs with their academies should be rich pickings with the cast off’s so surely they’re more of a benefit. Crewe and Oldham did well for a period in their histories with that tactic when they were better run.
Some people just trot out any tired old shit to suit their narrative.
It's bullshit, half the National League is full of teams that used to be in the top 4 divisions from all over the country. The real truth is that removing the election process to the leagues and replacing it with a promotion/relegation system is the cause, it's just that some people still have this mindset of a pre-1987 fixed top 4 divisions and find it odd to see clubs that have had a safety net in place for 75+ years in such a position. The other side of the coin is that successfully run smaller clubs can rise the pyramid and that has improved the game lower down the structure because investors see a reason to make the risks. What an absolute pile of fucking nonsense that’s got fuck all to do with the one main issue he glosses over. Except when it’s dressed up as lamb. You can’t beat a bit of mutton!
Well we twatted Southampton on their own patch a couple of weeks ago, while they then went to arsenal and got a 3/3 draw. So even he knows that’s bollocksTheo Walcott postgame interview, Arsenal "way better" than City. Someone get him a cup and get a specimen, quickly...

Spot on... It also needs looking at in a historical context. Football was the working man's game - it's rise to popularity was due to workers being given saturday afternoons off. Teams from Mill towns like Rochdale, Oldham etc. drew massive crowds - more than some Premier League teams get now! It's bullshit, half the National League is full of teams that used to be in the top 4 divisions from all over the country. According to this clown, we have to win the treble, nothing less, or our season is an utter failure.
Most rival fans on away days that don't.follow the rags dippers or arselona are.the same with us and don't follow the narrative and don't begrudge us our successThe negative way we are covered in the media looks stranger by the day. But I don't think it reflects the majority view of other football fans. During my various travels round London over the weekend I bumped into lots of rival fans including Sheffield United, Palace, Milllwall, and West Ham fans. Not a single one mentioned Arab oil money or cheating. The Millwall and West Ham fans said they were delighted by our success because they hate United, Arsenal, but, most of all, Liverpool fans. The Blades' fans said they loved our football and loved Tommy Doyle and James McAtee. I know there were a few young knobheaads knocking about after the match slagging us off but they really were a tiny minority of their mostly great fanbase. Sometimes it is easy to forget how much the media is out of touch with public opinion in this country.
