Whilst my visits to the Reebok these days are limited to a couple of times per season, I can safely say Bolton attendances are at their healthiest in a long long time. The average home attendance this season is just under 19,000 which is their highest outside the top division since the mid 1970's. Most of these new fans that are turning up this last 3 seasons are under 21. I would not worry about Bolton, things are a lot better there than 5 years ago.W
Know a few old skool Wanderers supporters and their kids have mostly shown no interest in their team , some of them have even tagged on to the Rags & Dippers and disowned their home town team ,that must be heartbreaking watching your kids turn into glory hunters.
same here...Truly glorious season ticket ensured I witnessed the spectacle.
Grow up on Nell Lane and went to Aquinas I'd say it was about 70/30 United. Obviously not a exact science though. I do remember when Busby died we were all told that we weren't allowed to skip school to go to the funeral.Depends. Trad chorlton was very Irish and so lots of reds. Busby, Best etc lived there
Estates like Merseybank and Nell Lane/Arrowfield were more blue
Oppressive heat as well, hope we crush them.We played with such restraint last night that those players won’t what will hit them when they play at ours

I agree Our high school in Chorlton definitely had a sizeable blue majority in the late 70s and early 80s.I came from Chorlton and everyone who I hung around with were all blues and their families, that was the 80s

Mate, that what it cost's to be the best dad. Well done for all your efforts, imagine how they would feel now being a fan of the scum. That's why we have children's homes.
Kids not Blue
Get rid make another one.
It cost me a fortune to get my boys in the 1980's (living in Salford) to be City fans
But had to be done.
It's alot easier with my grandson he's age 13. CTID
You do wonder, had Real Madrid gone straight up the other end and scored, would we have heard anything about this? How the article should start:
“Can a team be eliminated from the Champions League for being so incompetent as to have won the ball back after it has supposedly gone out of play, only to almost immediately lose it again, subsequently allowing the opposition to play three passes and then score?
The Metro investigates.”

I can't believe we stuffed the rags twice that season. Neither can they when you remind them about it.Nice article on Sly website about Haaland, not just his goals, a lot about his output, for balance the Boro 8-1 is just below it…cunts
Perspective though City were not a good time at the time and finished mid table under Sven. However the second coming of Sir Fergie (Tent Peg) who was chasing the quadruple apparently has been beaten by a similar score line. Least we scored.Nice article on Sly website about Haaland, not just his goals, a lot about his output, for balance the Boro 8-1 is just below it…cunts
Superb for a shit chelsea team so?That's not true,he was superb for Chelsea.
Bet his chair is not feeling too comfy now, the lanky streak of paralysed piss.Who have his beloved Norwich got in the play-offs? Oh, wait a minute ........
It has to be fully over. There was that incident in the Everton League Cup semi final where the ball looked out but it wasn't fully over the line. There's that famous diagram that someone did to prove it was still in play.I've looked over the last few pages and can't see it mentioned. Apologise if it is.
My understanding was a ball is out of play if it is completely over the line. The image that is being used in the media shows, a White line, the ball, and then a vertical red line in the centre of the white line. So yes the ball has gone past the red line, but from my (yes blue tinted) glasses, it hasn't fully gone over the white line.
So what is the rule. Fully Over? or partially over?
