Meeting Re: Atmosphere

They need to notify ST holders in 111, 110 and 109 and ask if they wish to move otherwise it'll be a repeat of the Wigan game.

How do you relocate then for this game?

Sounds promising and anything is worth a try, i've always had the view that we should have one stand full of singers instead of two sections but i just don't think we have that many supporters who are passionate enough to make it work. I hope i am wrong.

There is 4 weeks until this game, plenty of time to promote it, plenty of time to organise stuff, i hope it works.

Will the Blue Alliance be relocated in the middle of it or will they be scattered about like at normal home games, i think getting a hundred of these guys together could be the key to whether it works or not.

Last year I relocated to the Singing bits for the cup games, but this year I joined the cup scheme, so stuck in CB3(all our family is there) Reckon I'll be able to get them to change it for the Villareal match then?

this. If next season they do carry out this plan hopefully BA will organise getting all the members to sit together which could be the heart of the stand.

Its Frustrating To See The Club Have Made An Effort To Listen To The Fans But Then Failed To Execute The Plan To Exactly How The Fans Wanted It.
It's Quite Obvious To Everyone That A Certain Aspect Of The Atmosphere Created Comes From Direct Communication Between Home And Away Supporters, So It Should Have Been Made Absolutely Clear The Away Fans Still Need To Be Located On The Bottom Tier Near The More Vocal Home Fans.
On The Back Of This We Also Felt It Would Be Extemely Beneficial To Join The "Singing Section" (109,110,111) With The South Stand (116,117,118), Once This Happens It Leaves Simple Mathematics To Solve The Rest, Simply Fill The Now Void "Singing Section" With The Away Supporters.
As A Result Of This, You Have All The Vocal Groups Together Creating A Kippax/Kop Style End, And The Away Supporters Tucked Neatly Away In The Corner But Still Close Enough For The Unmissable Volume Battle.

The Problem With The Decision The Club Has Made, We Are Going To Essentially Replace The Vocal Away Supporters (Atmosphere Creaters) With City Fans That Dont Understand The Routine, It's More Than Likely They Will Sit Down And Stay Moderatly Quiet And That Area Will Now Become Theoretically Empty, The Words 1 Step Forward, 2 Steps Back Comes To Mind.

For Those Who Cant Picture This In There Head, I've Added The Stadium Seating Plan Below.

Do You Mind If I Ask Why You Start Every Word With A Capital?

It's Really Annoying.....

Can someone tell me if 111, 110, and 109 are being moved around to where the away fans are?
I assumed the idea was you have a choice to move south if you want to.

This is what i thought. People who want to stand and sing can move there? Otherwise it will just be a fail as usual because you will get familys sitting there etc. The club need to make it obvious that it is a ''singing section''

Surely the club should just move the 3 sections for this game to see what it is like rather than waiting on the 3 blocks to move themselves.

Its a good idea but not going to work im afraid.

Not everybody in that section will want to move and certainly shouldn't be forced to.

Level 2's in the same areas are like a different breed of fans to the Level 1. I don't ever see the movement of clapping hands or arms in the air and I never hear songs belted out and started by fans up there.

That's just not true, as anyone who's in 212 will attest to.
I'm sure there are singers up there, I'm not saying you're like the Famy Stand but compared to Level 1 singing areas, well, you're nowt like em.

nice back tracking, well done as you have done nothing but talk shit in this thread.

212 and 216 SING get that in your jumped up "i am a big blue" head.

not happy about this at all, leave it as it is! we ain't gonna be more vocal, english fans are just not like that anymore. yes we have passion but not in the same way as fans from other parts of the world. hopefully it falls flat on its arse n i can enjoy going to games like i do everyweek from my seat in 111
