Melbourne City FC Thread

Javier Cabrera, Adrian Luna, Craig Noone and Richard Winbichler are the new visa signings.

Scott Galloway and Josh Brillante.

The season starts normally around 10th October. The FFA Cup basically runs every few weeks until then, we are halfway through the round of 32.

Erick Mombarets is head coach Patrick Kisnorbo assistant Technical director is Alain Fjard and GK is Neil Young.

We have elevated several youth players to senior contracts and Generau and Bouzanis have returned from on loan in Holland.

We have basically a full squad, with probably room for 2 senior players, thats if no one else leaves.

Still in the midst of the longest off-season in world football but we actually have a FFA quarter final tomorrow night at home vs Wanderers.

Hard to gauge exactly where we are at and the season proper is still 3 or so weeks away but we have had a settled squad for the entire pre season so potentially we should be cherry ripe.

Be good to watch a game again.

Be careful what you wish for mate - we all watched City v Norwich at the weekend...

Semi just completed 1:5 win away to Brisbane Strikers, into the grand final.

Hopefully this is the start of good period, we had a few false dawns and generally find a way to stuff things up, but to make a final and chance to win the cup is nothing to sniff at.

Details of the final will be decided tomorrow night after the 2nd semi. Adelaide vs Central Coast.

It’s a start..
