Melbourne City FC Thread

Despite administering a few good shellackings in recent years, City still seem to find Victory a tough nut to crack. Given their respective league positions, one can only presume it’s some form of mental hang up. Odd.
Yep, poor result that today.

Today we are playing home 5pm KO local.

This will be my post, pretty much going to sign out.

Thanks for the replys over the seasons and support when we were rubbish, but its pretty clear now this entire CFG vision really doesn't work, that is no one really cares about Melbourne City outside of Melbourne and even then we struggle to grow.

Cheers.

I read the thread, I look at the ladder.

Just because you maybe don’t get replies doesn’t mean no-ones interested.

Melbourne City have still got a lot of support I think, and I hope you keep posting. Always look forward to it.

Maybe it's more down to the fact that there just aren't many watchers of the Australian football in general outside of Australia. These days, I don't even watch a lot of football outside of City. I wouldn't take that too personally.

Despite a dissapointing derby defeat against their bottom of the league local rivals last week, it looks like they have the league wraped up this season.

Thats a real shame, nothing beats a man on the ground giving updates.

Think you under estimate your impact.

Melbourne are much better off than some in CFG.

Troyes, Lommel and Sichuan dont seem to get much help.

Troyes look like they will go down and the other 2 seem stagnated in the second level.

City currently one up against Adelaide. Chances being missed at both ends. Pause in play at the moment due to a clash of heads, pretty nasty one too. Nice strike for City goal.

Somehow it remains 0-1 to City. Poor finishing and defensive errors a plenty from both teams.

Adelaide equalise in stoppage time, it's been coming. Poor defending from City. It's a frustrating watch!

Finished 4-2 to Adelaide, who now move clear into second, six points behind City, albeit the South Australians have played one game more.

I would love for Man City to send someone to have a look at Nestory Irankunda of Adelaide Utd. This kid is gonna be amazing in a couple of years. His goal highlights reel is phenomenal.

Doesn't include his goals last week and last night.
