Was there myself and I seem to remember u....d were at home on the same day., apologies if I got the match mixed up.I won a competition on Club Call. Probably cost ( my employer ) about £500 to enter and the prize was two tickets in the main stand to a big game. Plus a book, presented to me on the pitch by David White before the game.
The big game in question was Ipswich in the Full Members Cup. Unusual, in that it was probably the only game in that competition ever played on a Saturday. I think it was FA Cup 4th round day and we’d both been knocked out in the 3rd round. We lost that game as well.

Me too, got a week in Gran Canaria for £90 inc flights and transfers. Saw it on ceefax at 4pm-ish, then just had to get my ass to Gatwick for an 11pm flight, shiw passport and hey presto!Cheap Ski holidays.
Booked a few from there. Best one was a week in the Dolomites. £120 b&b+em. Including transfer to and from the airport.
Booked on the Friday, in the resort on Sunday.
Very much doubt this type of deal ever sees the light of day, now.
