Mendy given one year driving ban

Utter prat and someone should tell his partner you can’t be targeted if you keep within the speed limit.
 
Over here in the states they usually give you around 5 miles latitude. Except in school zones, they are crazy about those. 10%+2 is more than fair. Just drive under the limit and you'll be fine. How hard is it?
 
Ridiculous. With 6 points doled out for minor “speeding” offences it’s absurdly easy to get banned.
 
Of course it's Mendy.

If it was Sergio or Bernardo it would be a simple mistake and excuses made. But because Mendy's a personality and a bit of a joker he's clearly a dickhead and Balotelli 2.0. Not saying he's not, who knows?

I genuinely wonder how some people coped last season when everything was perfect til the spring. Must have been bursting for a good moan :-)

I dont think anyone has slated him or suggested he's a 'dickhead' (thats your fake news :)), its seems people just 'hope' he doesnt become Ballo 2
 
Jeeeeez... there are some judgemental folk on here!

Maybe, just maybe, he lent his mate a car. (Seems like quite a decent thing to do to me.)

Maybe his mate broke the speed limit.

When asked who was driving his car, maybe he chose not to grass up his mate and take the consequences on himself.

So, in my mind, he could possibly be an even better bloke than I thought he was before the ban.

I hope we havent got a silly billy big bollocks on our hands here because as a club we have done very well and gone out of our way to avoid them. Hope Bendy Mendy doesnt spoil that good work
 
The thing is he's not been given the points for minor speeding offences, He got them for failing to disclose who was driving on 4 occasions.

Perhaps he didn't want to drop a mate in the shit but he can't just ignore the situation.

Just a guess but I'd say the club has a pretty good legal resource that could have helped.
