Just been watching a video of Messi's 50 goals this season and can't help wondering if he'd be able to do this in England. Thoughts? I personally don't think he'd clear 30

He wouldnt score as many goals in England compared to Spain. Apart from Real the standard in the La Liga reminds me of the SPL. None of the other teams can cause those 2 teams problems in there league.

Look at the league in England the shit teams will want to kick him off the pitch and the defences of the top teams are better than the La Liga. He will of course score goals would get 20 plus goals.

If he was in this league with the exact same players he's at Barcelona with, he'd have no problems scoring as often as he does in la liga, simply because of the amount of chances he gets in that side and the way they can dominate english sides just like those in la liga.

However, take him out of that side and stick him in an english side with the players they have already. Then I think he would also struggle to hit 30 goals, in the league anyway.

If La Liga is so shit apart from Barca and Madrid then why do the other sides do so well in the Europa League? He'd score 50 goals anywhere, Ronaldo scored 42 goals here.

I have wondered how well Barca would do if you just dropped them into the Prem. How would they fare on a rainy Saturday 7:30 kick off at Stoke in December with those bastards hacking their legs out while they try to play their beautiful game.

From what I've seen I'd say teams in the Premier league defend better in general and he wouldn't be playing for a team as good as Barca so I doubt he would score as many as he does now.
